Aquileia has grown from a peaceful monarch to an industrial power. Emboldened by success and by its development into a modern progressive nation of factories and military power, General Dupont looks to the future with ambition. Permanent, lasting, peace will be earned on the end of a bayonet and it's his plans that will get Aquileia there. However, not every person in every nation is so enthusiastic for war.

Flash Sentry arrives at the sleepy coastal town of Vanhoover, prepared for a few weeks of restful engagement with the students of Equestria's premiere military academy. While the war that had been going for so long rages far away, it is here that the soldiers of tomorrow will learn their trade.

Of course, as in all things, all is not as it seems and violence seems to have a way of following Flash, as if death itself works in his shadow. He will have to overcome his own personal faults if he's to lead the students through an uncertain future.

The Changeling's, after a heavy bit of fighting, emerge into a new day with a new leader. Loose ends still abound however, and it's anybodies guess as to how long the new order will last.
Equestria, meanwhile, faces it's own set of challenges. The Griffons are still a threat, and increasing the Saddle Arabian's are as well. Flash Sentry and Air Martial Spitfire have it cut out for them as they face this enemy with all their cunning and courage.
Changing times create ample opportunity, and intelligent ponies like First Class see themselves as the leaders that will usher Equestria into a bold new world. Not everyone agrees with their grand schemes- how far will they go to protect their interests?

Princess Luna and Princess Celestia, only having these titles for a few months, must now unite the scattered settlements of Equestria to create the first stable government after Discords reign. In their travels across the nation, guided only by their wits and ancient maps, they will discover an evil that has long since lay dormant.

It is their mission to spread Order where Chaos once reigned, but nothing comes easily.

For the past few months Equestria has watched as the Griffon Kingdoms have been united by a single, powerful, warlord. The celebration of peace with the Changelings has been cut short as the rest of the continent has seen itself rapidly unravel under the weight of the griffons militancy. Parliament has been called, and the nation will soon decide the path it will tread.

The changelings bear the first assault in the opening barrage, but this is not the only problem facing them. Their origins, and what it means to really be a changeling, weighs heavily on the changeling ambassador as he grapples not only with the survival of his people through the war, but what their future will hold in store

Soon they will have to face them on the field, and there will be no turning back. What the Griffons really want, and how Equestria and the changelings will stop them, remains to be seen.

Note: Shorts are in a wobbly chronological order. Each separate will have holes in them, but all together them form a coherent chronological structure.

Continuation in progress: A Circle Has No End
Changeling Eta-Gamma, now going by his nickname 'Wildcard", is the new Changeling Ambassador to Equestria, following the signing of a treaty of friendship.
Celestia has high hopes that the new friendship between Equestria and the Changeling Hive will usher in a new age of peace, but events elsewhere quickly put a damper on this hope. The Ambassador has his own problems as well, as he starts his mission with quite a few unhappy ponies harassing him. It's good that he has a nice desk- it's where he spends most of his time.

In his journey he meets several friends, makes a few enemies, and quickly falls for a pegasus with a mane to match his blue eyes. Discoveries are made, truths are unveiled, and decisions of vast importance are decided.

It is Wildcards mission to represent the Hive, and to convince the ponies the Hive means well. Time will tell if the resources he has will be enough.

After discovering a changeling infiltrator Princess Twilight Sparkle decides that it's time to remove the threat of the Changeling Hive. She will free them from the tyranny of Queen Chrysalis, and bring harmony to them, proving to all that she is fit for her new station.
The changelings are not so easily swayed, and rebel against the perceived invasion. Will the changelings be able to retain their sovereignty, or will they become annexed by Equestria? The Changelings are fiercely independent, and Twilight is just as fierce in her quest to bring harmony to them, which side will break first?
