Twilight and her friends soon find themselves in a dark forest after being sucked into a portal. They soon find that this is no ordinary forest- it's home to many fearsome cats. The newcomers must learn the ways of the Clans, learn to respect the warrior code and obey the will of StarClan.

After King Sombra defeated the two princesses who previously ruled Equestria, it was chaos. Rebellions took place throughout the country, and destruction was everywhere. Angered that the ponies under his rule dare to overthrow him, he split Equestria into twelve districts and renamed canterlot to the Capitol.

One hundred and twenty-four years later, the games are just as cruel and ruthless, and Autumn Dusk has to fight in the arena until there is only one pony left- which was probably not going to be her.

81 years have passed since Princess Celestia defeated her sister in a battle, and sent her to the moon. Rebels who supported Luna tried to rebel against Princess Celestia, who she defeated with a simple spell. Realising how much power she had and what she could do with it, she changed Equestria for the worst. She ordered her army to set fire to anything and everything belonging to anypony who stepped out of line. And from that day on, The Pony Games began, a reminder of the Princess's power and how nopony should rebel against her again.
