We have officially reached the absolute pinnacle of human achievement. Everyone can pack up and go home, because we've accomplished all we need to as a species.
It's truly a beautiful thing.

Before I begin, I should come clean about something: I've played almost none of the games I know about. I really don't have anything to play them on. Instead, I learn about them from various Let's Players, the Game Theorists, and a
Well, it's been a while. I would be telling you all about tour, but I left the device that I wrote my journal entries on in a restaurant in Stuttgart. So that's not going to happen. I now find myself in the supremely unenviable position of being phoneless. It isn't very fun at all. I mean, sure, you might complain about your phone being a piece of crap just because it isn't the latest model, but I'm blathering on and on about how you should be grateful for what you have and I just
Flight Log #1.1

Have started flight to Germany. Been sitting here for close to an hour. It took them a while to get the in-flight entertainment up and running, but it seems to be working all right now. I'm watching CHAPPiE, and so far, the best part is that it's set in South Africa, so everyone has a silly accent. Logging off for now. I'll let you know if anything else happens.

So I'm going on tour with my choir to Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg. I'll do my best to keep people updated, because I'm pretty sure it's gonna be SWEET. However, at the moment, I have to get through airport security, which actually seems to be less sucky than usual. Surprising. Anyway, this is basically just stream of consciousness here. I'll try to keep people updated on my Teutonic escapades, when I have wifi. If I don't, I'll probably write it and then post it later with The date and/or
I am the graduate. It's me. And it feels FANTASTIC, even if I did have to sit on a folding chair until my butt was sore, wearing a silly outfit, to receive a sheet of paper saying that they'd mail the actual piece of paper I went through four years of school for to me sometime in July. Coincidentally, this occurred on a day that is also the release date for the new Jurassic Park film AND an important date in the Homestuck calendar. THEN, I'm going to go home and have cake and possibly
Guys. Oh my flipping GOSH. I am so gosh-darn flipping PUMPED. I don't know whether you've seen this yet, but it was enough to make me squee with anticipation.
OH MY GOD THEY'RE MAKING ANOTHER FALLOUT YOU GUYS AND THERE'S A DOG AND SOME SKYSCRAPERS AND I THINK I SAW A HUGE AIRSHIP AT 1:56 AND THEN THAT SHOT OF THE POWER ARMOR AT AROUND 2:18!!!!!
So, I'm in the International Baccalaureate program at my school. Mostly, it's pretty cool. I get to take classes like "Comparative Values and Beliefs" and Epistemology, and the books we read in English aren't just from the European canon. But GOOD LORD is the organization full of bullshit. I feel like I'm wading through the Aegean stables, here. The most recent set of cow pies added to this festering heap of bovine sewage were the IB exams. The English ones actually weren't that bad, although
Perhaps it isn't surprising given the fandom that the site represents, but has anyone else noticed how much higher the average caliber of comments is on this website as compared to the rest of the internet? I mean, Love and Tolerance, sure, but that doesn't explain why such a huge percentage of the commenters here are actually constructive, intelligent, and/or actually funny. It's a little creepy, to be totally honest. It's like that feeling you get when you walk into the Ultra-Luxe in
So, who's excited for that new Jurassic Park World movie coming out in June? Me, that's frickin who. I never really grew out of my dinosaur phase. Perhaps it's because they're the closest thing Earth has ever had to actual dragons, or maybe it's because I'm fascinated by just how alien life was during the Mesozoic era. Then again, it could just be because my id gets a huge kick out of seeing people getting eaten by giant reptiles with nasty, sharp, pointy teeth. Whatever the case,
