The story follows the life of a pony named Zenno Clownie who at a young age had gained a love for pranks from his older sister. He had always been attached to his sister considering their parents where always too busy with work to spend time with the young colt. Though it never really mattered to him, as long as she was there he could be happy. Though one night after a fight that happened between her and their parents the next morning she was nowhere to be found. The only thing that was left behind was an object she held close to her heart and a note telling the young colt that if he wished to learn the reason as to why she left he would have to go out and find it. Zenno then takes off into the vast world of Equestria in hopes of not only finding the reason to her disappearance but the slight chance of being able to see his sister once again. The disappearance of his sister had completely changed the colt, but along the way in this journey he begins to discover new bonds. Not only that but as time progresses after meeting a certain pink pony he not only learns the true meaning of friendship but also discovers deeper feelings he thought would never come to surface.
