I had a phase like that, having too many ideas at once. At some point, I just learned to filter out the ones that wouldn't have been that interesting and instead focus on the ones that actually might lead to a nice story. Alas, work and laziness are throwing a wrench into my writing plans for now, but I have faith that it's going to change at one point. *shrug*

a bit of trouble thinking about what to say back at times. i guess ill just say good luck again.
dealing with peoples expectations can be stressful.

I do like writing myself. procrastination just gets in the way at times. getting several different ideas for different stories does not help either.

Thanks!

don't undersell yourself, 100k is a lot of worlds. sounds like a long side story.

Well, yeah, 100k is already a good start, but then again, only six and a half chapters. Those are going to be released way too quickly for my taste. People constantly expect updates and I can't fault them for wanting to read more (would be kinda sad if they wouldn't), but... uff. So many expectations and you have to keep up with it all. I wouldn't do it if I didn't love the stuff I write. Heck, Twin Suns started out as an experiment on how well I could write degenerate stuff with moral implications absolutely everywhere and I think I'm doing a pretty good job at it.

first of All ill say good luck with the apprenticeship! second ill say good luck with the side story, and don't undersell yourself, 100k is a lot of worlds. sounds like a long side story.
my procrastination as been a little worse since i have not had much on that should take up time. A bit of the you don't get around to doing anything useful kind of thing.

Eh, I can understand procrastinating a lot. I do it far too often, but as of right now, I think it's understandable (what with having way less free time on my hands since my apprenticeship started). When I do get around to it, I usually am just editing the stuff I have for the side story I'm currently working on. I hope I might get it to a point where I'm comfortable with releasing it this year, but so far, I don't know if that's going to happen. I have just about 100k written for it, which are currently six and a half chapters, but I would like for it to at least have fifteen chapters ready before I consider releasing it. It is shaping up very nicely, though. :3
