How about a cult?
Just a Brony who loves anything crime fiction...
After months of radio silence, I did it, published a new story.
Though, its progression may not be as fast as the preceding story, it's still progression nonetheless.
To write a stronger basis of my planned sequel, I must look back at my first work and learn what I had originally planned this "Ponified Sherlock" thing to go. I looked at my original notes and saw how each phase of the story eventually evolved into the one I have written. I smile when looking back at it, seeing how far I've gone. Perhaps it may be the amateur writer in me (which I am), but I sorta feel proud of my work. I've gone from the "spoon-fed" exposition to a more "showing rather than
So, I've done some rethinking on the last chapter of latest story, and had done some changes to not only improve its mystery element, but to also connect it to the sequel. So, if you read this post, kindly have a look at it and see if it improved. I written out the out-of-the-blue interruption and gave the ending a more ominous and uncertain ending.
Having read all the original 60 Sherlock Holmes stories, I would say the best actor who ever played as the famous sleuth would be Jeremy Brett. His portrayal seemed to make Holmes ripped straight from the pages of the books and into real life. His mannerisms, personality, manners were as true as you could get.
Before I had begun writing Pinkie's Cupcakes, I first read the stuff in which my fan fic was based on (Sherlock Holmes), and as well as other beloved crime classics such as Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, and dissected them in order to learn how does one write crime fiction. And I learned that you begin in the end, and end in the beginning. Confusing? Let me explain--
I had planned, even from the start when I had just begun writing my first fan fic, to have a sequel written for it. A sequel where the Mane Six and the ponified Sherlock Holmes face the wrath of the evil Professor and try to bring him and his vast criminal empire down. A more action-packed sequel but still retaining the elements of a detective story... perhaps like Guy Ritchie's "A Game of
I just realized after rewatching Episode 11 of Season 2, that Equestria was founded upon the bases of three different forms of government. Those three forms being Monarchism, Militarism, and Federalism. But before I explain why, I must ask you to cast your mind back to the Three Tribes prior to the foundation of Equestria.
I have finally finished writing my first story! And to those who managed to finish it till the end, I thank you for sticking for so long and I hope you enjoyed it. I'm very aware that it has a ton flaws (plot holes, grammar errors, etc.) and that it's very amateurish. But this is my first written literary work (as a Brony, that is), and I hope you may forgive it and still found it enjoyable.
Do you remember the first time we saw Maud back in Season 4? Do you also remember that when she saved Pinkie from being crushed by a rock Maud wore a Pickelhaube?--the iconic helmet with a little spike on its top in which was made famous by their Prussian wearers. Well, I certainly do. I then therefore decided to create this meme back in May with Maud dressed up as a Kaiser with the Prussian flag waving in the background...as well as the iconic Preußen Gloria.
