While enjoying a quiet evening at the bar, Bon Bon and Lyra are joined by two new faces. A changeling and a kirin, visiting Ponyville on vacation. The two ponies are happy for the company. After all, changelings are just like ponies, and apart from being all female, kirin are too.

Ponies going missing was a normal thing at one point in Maretime Bay. They were brushed off as being taken by the unicorns or picked up by the pegasi, only fueling the fire of hate and fear. But after a year of ponies being back together, something seems to keep taking ponies and then returning them back with no memory of what they went through. Sunny and Hitch try to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Chrysalis wakes from her exile to find that Princess Twilight has crashed in the forest around her new home. What will the once proud Changeling Queen do?

The real Nightmare Moon has returned during Nightmare Night, and she plans to get revenge on Twilight Sparkle. However, she hasn't been aware of any events past her demise. Or the secret feelings a certain mare has that she's hated for over two years.

Thorax is a junior processor, class Q, and has lived his entire life in the hive, yet he dreams of things bigger. Grander. Much more important than watching pH levels in vats all day. Wouldn't you know it, his application to the espionage services gets accepted, too! Maybe he really is going places!
Except he nearly flunked the exam, and knows nothing of the outside world. Regardless, Queen Chrysalis charges him with a very important mission: Spying on the inhabitants of Ponyville, especially Twilight Sparkle.
Nothing, of course, goes right after that.

Rainbow Dash thought she knew her friend Cloudfront. She thought she understood at least most of what went on in his anxious little head. She thought that being someone's best friend meant you knew everything about them. Turns out there was a lot she didn't know and a lot more there to love.
