Well, we're back from camping! Although I wished we had cleaned up a bit before coming back to Light's Hope. Raven had quite the scare upon seeing our bloody armor! In any case, I sent Ember back to my quarters to get cleaned up while I joined my squad in their shower. Afterwards I gave them permission to rest up. Give their brains time to process the past couple days.

Sweetie Bell came up with "Light's Hope" last night at supper! Twilight and her friends met us there. We rushed the mares to the hospital and they were rushed away! Mythic Honor showed up and we brought him up to speed on what had transpired! Shortly thereafter the doctor came out with the bad news! There was nothing he could do to for the patients other than make them comfortable! Luckily for them, the Marquis volunteered to donate some of his humor to save them! Today my friends and I went to see my new Command Center, and I must say I'm really impressed! After taking in an eyeful, Twilight and I headed for the Gates of Tartarus to carry out our mission. The Marquis has waited long enough!

I returned to the Hammer’s blacksmith shop to retrieve my armor. From the looks on their faces, I think they worked all night on it! In any case, it really didn’t look any different. But when they explained to me what was on the inside, it blew my mind! Hand cannons, cybernetics, thermal regulators and even an enchantment on the left hand to place sigils! There won’t be anything I can’t do with this now!

While I had gone there just as a friendly meeting, they… well, let’s just say they warned me about a great many threats looming over this land! From afar, things look pretty peaceful. I brought Cherry to the hospital and they wheeled her away. Ruby followed her sister nervously and Ember and I waited out front to watch the sunrise. Quite some time later Ruby stepped outside. She told us Cherry would be fine in a day or so. I… apologized for being unable to protect her sister properly. Ruby told me that Cherry would rather be lying in that hospital bed, than married to a stallion she didn’t love. But that didn’t make it any easier for me!
