A teenage boy who is all alone in Canterlot High someone with no friends and is feared by everyone in his school with no hope until finds himself meeting someone and "something" changes his world for the better. Now he has to adjust to the new reality. He learns to control this great power he didn't ask for but still accepts the responsibility. Along the way, he learns what it means to be human. Through his new friendships and self-discovery, the boy turns into a man.

I never understand this over cliche of a story summary like this?
It makes no sense to have him get "no friends" in Canterlot High of all things, considering that this is a school drama with friendship as a theme.
What about the Rainbooms?
But, what really irritates me is him being "feared" by everyone?
It now makes no dang sense by this point.
He doesn't look like a demon or a monster in disguise? He looks like a regular ole human dude!!??

The premise is certainly interesting, but the context feels out of time, if it happened before or during the friendship games it would fit more with the idea you want to give about Kane and not so much in Canterlot, but in itself it looks promising, let's see where you take it.
