I'm Going to Propose to My Girlfriend, Wish Me Luck · 9:16am Last Tuesday

So, I've been dating a girl named Cynthia for seven years now, and I'm finally going to ask her to marry me. We're going to go to our local bar with our old unit from when we were both in the Marines. Yes, she's also an ex-Marine. I'm just extremely nervous, even though I feel she'll say yes, there's always that chance she won't, like if she's not ready for that kind of commitment. And right now, my blood pressure is sky high to the point where I can't get to sleep, it's 5AM where I am, and I'm wide awake, and for once it's not the cigarettes. I just want to be with Cynthia for the rest of my life, I know she's the one for me. She's an amazing person, beautiful inside and out, not afraid to stand up for herself and her friends and family, and always knows how to make me smile like nobody else can. I'll let you guys know what happens after I propose to her. Hopefully when I come home from the bar, I'll be an engaged man.
