CotLM Review/Progress update · 6:15pm Oct 12th, 2015
Crusaders of the Lost Mark: the character development of an entire season's subplot, crammed into a single musical episode. Seriously, what happened in this episode, particularly with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, should've been spread out much further back in other CMC episodes. It would've felt much more natural in the end, made those episodes more interesting, and created a more solid arc to hold the CMC subplot together. But as is, CotLM felt very much like the CMC equivalent of Magical Mystery Cure. Oh well, blame the short attention spans of the target audience, I guess.
But as far as Night Terrors goes, work hit a setback with my laptop being repaired for the last week or so. But I literally have just two or three more passages to write before I'm ready to put out the next chapter, so hopefully not to much wait on that.
As far as World-Jumper goes, I don't really have a good feel for how Jack could get involved in EQG Friendship Games, so gonna go ahead and put that story on hiatus until I figure out where I want to go with it.
yeah, the writing this season has been subpar. Heck the CMC mark is ugly. 4 years and that's what they came up with?
As for Night Terrors, the next chapter may make or break my reading of it. I just don't like what you did in the last chapter with Dash.
