Starting commissions, Patreon up · 1:25am Feb 3rd, 2020
To put it rather bluntly, I'm broke. I figure writing commissions might be able to cover things, since I've gotten quite a bit of praise on my writing capabilities. As well, I've set up a Patreon in case anyone's feeling generous.
So if any of you out there are itching to get a fic made and have got ten bucks, that can buy you a thousand words from me. And as I'm rather fast at writing, that would probably take only 1-2 days. The price is very flexible; I'll consider lower prices for stuff I'm more interested in. There's virtually nothing I won't write either.
Now as a little further about my situation, I've been doing a lot of work for free for various people in editing, and even in a few cases doing requests outright. As the saying goes, if you're good at something, don't do it for free. It pains me to say I won't be doing requests anymore, but uncertainty of whether I can eat in a given month takes precedence.
I actually went to college already and got a degree in Computer Science, and another in Software Engineering (there's a big overlap in classes), but unfortunately, it's been a struggle to show up on companies' radar ever since my first internship ended with the company not having hiring capacity. I might be able to break out into a career in software eventually, but in the meantime I need at least $200/month to be able to eat.
