Rainbow Dash's father is dying in hospital. All Twilight can do is watch and offer some comforting words.

Words are powerful things. They can hurt, and they can heal; you just have to know the right ones. But when somepony loses their father, what are the right ones?

For the longest time I was happy. Not a care in the world. I had my plans, my schedules, my friends. But one day time caught up to me, and I had to pay it's toll.

This is my first MLP fanfic, so it really isn't that great. But I do love Twilight/Rainbow since it's the first ship I've seen any mention of. (Nerd/Jock FTW!)

How will Rainbow Dash react when she has been tasked to save her crush from the unknown evil that inhabits these old ruins?

This story is my attempt at the National Pony Writing Month mentioned on EQD.

Sometimes when you have a crush on somepony who you need help from, strange things can happen.

Rainbow Dash had been in love with Twilight for a very long time, but only something as simple as healing a wing drew them even closer to each other.

Will Rainbow overcome her fears and reveal her feelings towards Twilight?
