History is written by the victors and the Equestrians excel at winning. Far to the south of Equestria in the Badlands, the region that separates the Equestrian frontier and the unknown lands of the long forgotten Humans, lies an ancient citadel of knowledge. Generations of magic, both well versed and obscure, holy and ghastly. Its reinforced walls still stand though the tomes and coveted secrets were purged after years of warfare, degradation and abandonment. Despite the armies, bands and packs who tried to finish what the Equestrians started none were able to breach the gates of the Lost Archive. None aside from the few faithful to the old ruler and Lord Hierophant have ever entered. His reign was cut short because of the same people who gave it to him and his followers, though misguided and few in number, would see fit to restoring his former glory even if it's more myth then legend.

The art for this fic was used with permission from, and created with unequivocally EXCEPTIONAL SKILL, by the one and only AskBubbleLee on Deviantart. Look upon the works of this talented artist and rejoice, ye pitiful mortals!

Ebonfallow is a meek changeling who, for reasons beyond her control, was born with the inability to change form. Blackfish is an orca of adventurous qualities both admirable and vexatious, and pines for something—or someone—interesting enough to satisfy an unknown thirst that plagues him so.

When the former leaves her hive for a coastal pony community in disgrace and the latter decided to explore the very same location she dwells by virtue of his unquenchable curiosity, their paths soon cross upon one calm, warm summer day.

And, as both soon find out, their fates may be destined to intersect in more ways than simply a single, freak encounter...

(Btw, the rating will probably eventually change, as will certain, *nudge, nudge,* tags.)

A teacher.

Story Tags and notes: There is going to be no explicit sex in this story, but gender, sex, and general reproduction will be a subject, as well as love, affection, morality, society and any other subjects that boggles my mind.
This story is something I made out of a combination of my own headcanon for changelings, and with my frustration, yet love, for philosophy, which I study at writing moment at university. This story will have slow updates, but I will work on it. This is as much a work for me, as it is for you.
I hope you´ll enjoy.

Mr A T. Towards, petty crimelord and minor magician of no particular note, is finally in the dungeons of Canterlot where he belongs, thanks to the bravery, ingenuity, and relentless determination of Equestria's Finest.

Of course, that's not precisely how he remembers it. And he's not about to rot away in a wet dungeon without doing his damnedest to make sure some...pony gets it right.

Banished from a land of industrial magic and ancient terrors for a crime he... well, actually, he committed it with some considerable panache. Thrown into a broken mirror, passing through the fey realms, and turning up in the land of Equestria does tend to give one a certain change of perspective, however. And this is, more or less, that story.
Mostly.
Probably.

If he can resist the urge to embellish and lie long enough to recite a coherent tale, anyway.

Many millennia ago, Pokemon used to roam the world of Equestria freely. Then, one day, they simply vanished... One day, a crazed stallion decided to mess with something that should have been left alone. With Pokemon suddenly appearing in Equestria once more, how will Equestria cope with change, especially when the Pokemon appear to be more than what the myths said?

(Formerly known as "Faraway World of Our Dreams".)

This idea came to mind when I saw all of the Human-turned Pokemon in Equestria fics, and I thought, “Hey, maybe I can make a unique spin on it!” So that’s how this came to be. Hopefully, aside from a random twist here and there, you’ll enjoy a (relatively) realistic take on HiE as Pokemon. Will update sporadically, whenever I get ideas and have time to write.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Pokemon, nor do I own My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They are owned by Nintendo and Hasbro respectively. I claim no credit, ownership, etc, and ask that you support the official shows.

Creamy Crumb is relatively content with her life; things are largely stress-free. There are occasional threats to her home-land of Equestria, but they've not affected her life for more than the duration of the issue. That is, of course, until one fateful day.
