Flight Camp was a life-changing event for Cloud Kicker. Her horrible fight with Rainbow Dash forever changed things between them, and drove a wedge between Cloud and Fluttershy.
But what if that had never happened? What if Cloud and Fluttershy had stayed together? How would the lives of the three friends be different? What other changes would ripple across Equestria as a result of that one event? Cloud and Fluttershy might be happily married, but how would that change the lives of their friends? Would Rainbow Dash go down a different path to joining the Wonderbolts? How would Rarity's life change if she never met Fluttershy until she moved to Canterlot?
Where would they be today if they'd traveled down the road not taken?
This story is a sequel to Winning Pony: Road Not Taken
Years before the events of Winning Pony: Road Not Taken, Sparkler didnāt know her big sister. She didnāt have one.
For as long as she could remember, Sparkler had been in a foster home, under the care of Equestriaās Foal Services. It hadnāt been perfect, but life had been pretty good while she waited for somepony to adopt her.
Thirteen years is a long time to wait, though, and she had all but given up on ever leaving. Given up, until she found everything she knew suddenly and violently pulled out from under her. Hurt, scared, and alone, sheās found herself in a sea of new faces. Some help, some smile, most just fade into the background.
None of them seem interested in her, though. Not enough to take her home.
This story is a sequel to Rise of the Phoenix Empress
It has been nearly nine hundred years since Sunbeam Sparkle claimed the throne of Equestria after Celestiaās abdication. In that time, she has forged Equestria into a powerful centralized empire that spans most of the known world. Even the distant griffons and zebras pay reluctant homage to the Phoenix Empress.
In this series of connected one-shots, weāll be taking a look at life the new Equestria Sunbeam Sparkle has forged, through the eyes of its inhabitants.
Study Buddies: Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle are the Empressā co-students. They also rather dislike each other, mostly due to Sunsetās less than friendly attitude. Can they find a way to work together to fulfill the Empressā high expectations, or will they just end up trying to kill each other?
Sunbeam Sparkle is not a good pony. She might not be pure evil, but she is ruthless, ambitious, and so power-hungry that she would even aspire to usurp Celestia's throne. Worse, she succeeds in manipulating Celestia into not only surrendering rule over Equestria, but her immortality as well.
It is often said that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. In most cases thatās true. Many good ponies have begun with good intentions, but slowly lost their way. However, this is not always the case. A rare few virtuous ponies have the character and strength of will to resist temptation, and are never corrupted by their authority.
Even rarer, there comes a time when gaining power makes a pony better than they were before. This is one such story.
One night, just like that, Celestia realizes she's going to die in less than twenty-four hours.

Caramel wasn't always a Changeling, but he's going to become one. And he's going to do it for the sake of his very special somepony.
At her coronation after-party, Twilight gets a little freaked out at the prospect of growing into her new life, especially one specific aspect of it. She knows better than anyone that talking her problems over with a friend can help tremendously, but she doesn't have many friends with whom she'd be comfortable talking about this particular problem, let alone ones who would really understand what she's going through.
...unless she broadens her definition of "friend."

Plowpony's Day- a day of peaceful rest and relaxation. Or it was, until Twilight Sparkle badly mangled a teleportation spell. It has left her with a bad case of Horn Rot, a disease that if untreated could prove fatal. What's more, the malady is advancing faster than the slow-brewing potion that cures it!
There is one swifter cure: the Beneviolet, a star-shaped flower that grows in the distant Archback Mountains, far beyond the western borders of Equestria. Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity choose to undertake the long journey for the sake of their friend. Their path will wind through floes of ice, across gold-tinted plains, into distant forests glimmering with magic. They will learn much about the world beyond their homeland- and much about themselves, as well.
Yes, it's "Dangerous Business," here on FIMFiction. A huge debt is owed to all those who have supported me over the years. I've edited the story some to remove extraneous bolding and italics, but other than that, it remains unchanged. I hope new readers enjoy it as much as old ones did.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders ask Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy about what happened just after the events of the Cutie Mark Chronicles; specifically, what happened to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash immediately after the race. Reluctantly, Dash and Fluttershy delve into a tale. A tale of a young Fluttershy's amazement at the world she had landed upon, and a filly Dash's desperate quest to save her from that most evil of places: THE GROUND.
