Things can happen very quickly when one lets magic into places it shouldn't go.

Sunset Shimmer spots something in a video of her battle with Midnight Sparkle. Her solution will draw in both Crystal Prep acquaintances and Canterlot High friends in her quest to save some lives by making a better magic-trapper.

On May 23, 2015, the world ended. It wasn't violent, it wasn't bloody, and it wasn't even very dramatic. The entire population of the planet vanished. But they didn't stay gone; almost at once refugees started trickling back. Unfortunately for them, they didn't come back with their humanity intact.

Instead of a single species, the earth is now populated with Ponies, griffons, dragons, minotaurs, and even stranger creatures. What will the remnants of humanity make with their world? Will they remember human achievements, or slip back into primitive ignorance? Learn from our mistakes, or repeat them over and over?

People haven't really changed, only their bodies have. The world now comes with new threats, supernatural as well as mundane. Demons lurk beneath the sea, while strange spirits whisper promises in dreams. Empires rise, dictators control, and ponies have nowhere to turn for help. Nowhere except themselves, and old-fashioned hard work.

This story is effectively an anthology of episodes, each of which will focus on a different time period and different perspective characters.

Latest in the Last Pony on Earth series. If you haven't read that story, start there. This one won't really make much sense otherwise.

A thousand years ago, Celestia had to banish her sister to the moon because of her tampering with dark magic. After centuries of blaming herself for her sister's loss- the monarch who abdicated from the throne and has been wandering the Equestrian Republic of States has returned to warn of the coming war that she couldn't face.

If only the Ministers of Friendship could hope to trust a pony who leveled Canterlot in grief a thousand years ago and left the sun and moon frozen in the sky in hopes that her lost sister could see that a twilight world could be their domain. Repenting for the sins of the past, an alicorn wanders with her daughters. After all, what use is a Princess of the Sun if the daytime caused her sister's fall?

Long ago on an island far away from any other island, there lived a race of colorful-haired super humans called Equestrians. They have lived for a thousand years on the island of Equestria, which was ruled by two sisters and protected by six Equestria girls chosen by the rulers.

One day, an Alliance of Darkness came from under Equestria to invade as they took the Moon Princess away. The Sun Princess had no choice but to separate the guardians to forbidden nations of the land where no one can find them. After the invasion, the remaining ruler came up with a plan to find the guardians, but none of them were found.

But a human came to the island and said that the only way to find them was a group of brave humans called the Order of the Stone. So the ruler sent three of her knights, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, and Coloratura, to the Human Island to find the Order and bring them to Equestria before the Alliance destroys humanity and resumes the war.

In this crossover story, join Sunset Shimmer on a journey with her friends, the Order, and the Guardians of Equestria, to stop the Alliance from resuming the war and destroying humans.

Twilight Velvet is enduring the unique pain of a mother saying goodbye to all of her children, left alone in a home too big for her. Imagine her surprise when she begins to find friendly notes and gifts left around the house for her by a loving husband. But - surprise! They are actually the bumbling attempts of the evil Changeling Queen Chrysalis to kidnap her and ransom her to Twilight Sparkle! But when things take a turn for the worse with the changelings, will Chrysalis and Twilight Velvet be able to work together to save a life?

The Kidnapping of Twilight Velvet

Chrysalis attempts to kidnap Twilight Velvet. It does not go as planned.

This story was actually nominated in several categories, as it's funny, and it's sweet. It ended up winning The Fluttershy because the heartfelt moments are what really stood out the most.

Everypony at the Ponyville Schoolhouse was excited for Show and Tell, but nopony seemed more eager to show something for it than Scootaloo. When she brought her item up to the front, it was a Daring Do story written by her mentor Rainbow Dash. And since it was still in the works, the filly wanted her class to get a sneak peek at one of the chapters.

Of course, maybe Scootaloo should've asked Rainbow Dash for permission first.

Sunset Shimmer enjoys a nice day in the park with the two loves of her life.

After what Sunset had done she never expected anyone to forgive her, but there was always someone willing to give her a second chance and accept her for what she was. Even before Twilight's friends bothered with her, there was one girl who Sunset could always rely on to be there.
