In her arrogance, Sunset Shimmer believed for years that she could outrun her past, no matter how much time went by. But with her defeat at the hands of Twilight Sparkle, and her humiliation in front of the entire school, that assumption, like so many others, has been proven gravely incorrect.

Now, like all those who came before her who thought the same, she must look within herself and face her demons. What question remains is whether she can quell the fire within, or if it will consume her entirely.

This story is a sequel to Raging Fire

For as long as she can remember, Sunset has been a mare split in two.

Powerful, but weak. Smart, but brash. Ambitious, but wild.

Human, but pony.

As she turns the next page in her young life, this duality rises to confront her yet again. Once a demon, now an angel, in order to understand who Sunset Shimmer truly is and what kind of future awaits her she must delve deep into her complicated past.

Because while her past is no longer today, it may be tomorrow, and devils thought forgotten are not so easily buried.

Excuse me? My name is Discord thank you very much, and I didn't steal Hearth's Warming at all! Honestly, how rude, and not to mention a flagrant instance of shameless clickbating.

Oh whatever. Here's some story about how I "learn" the importance of charity from my dear friend Fluttershy. If only the author were half as pleasant.

No one forced you to take control of the narration.

You did the moment you decided to write a story about me. Really, this is all your fault.

Moving on!

Written for Dafaddah for Jinglemas 2023. We hope you enjoy!

"Just like in the stories, ponies keep their princesses in the tallest towers of the castle! I can't believe how dumb they are to tell everyone! First, I'll replace that princess getting married, then I'll... do cool stuff with the love I take, and then Equestria will be mine!"

This story is a sequel to Pink Scorch

Second entry into the Pink Scorch series. Reading the first story isn't required.

After being confronted by the ancient demon lord Rakasha, Pink Scorch embarks on a quest to acquire demon souls for $6.50 (no take-backs).

As an aside, there's also this really cool band called Underlord trying to summon a primordial god through ritualistic rock concerts. Sounds spicy.

Special thanks to semillon, NorristhePony, Soaring, and Petrichord for prereading/editing!

In the city of Maretropolis, superheroes and supervillains aren't that uncommon. In fact, it's expected of the average resident to encounter some super-powered maniac at least once per month. Many of these villains have their reasons. Whether it's greed or to exact revenge, their motives are perfectly understandable.

Enter Pink Scorch. She has been in the anti-hero game for a while, only choosing to fight crime when she crosses paths with it. She's even had a few rundowns with villains, all of which she could relate to to some degree or another.

This newest villain, however, has her stumped. They spray juice everywhere, complain about poor dieting choices, and cause problems among taxpayers—all in the name of good health.

Her name is Juice Mare, and nothing about her makes any sense.

Now with a sequel.

Special thanks to NorristhePony, semillon, and Petrichord for proofreading! Also, thanks to Flutterpriest and Bandy for helping with the bonus chapter.

This story is a sequel to Urban Wilds

Amanita. Quiet. Awkwardly self-conscious. Necromancer. Reformed. Newly hired by the Royal Guard and the apple of its eye. How could she not be? She’s a peerless expert when it comes to necromancy. But only because she’s the only pony with any knowledge of necromancy beyond the basics, she tells herself. She needs to be more than just a static source of knowledge; she also needs to apply that knowledge, to expand her mind. She can’t live her whole life in a lab. She needs experience out in the field.

Which is how she finds herself assigned to a ley purification team. There’s something wrong with a ley line. It’s not immediately dangerous, but if left alone, it could corrupt the land, killing crops and creating monsters. Amanita is part of a small crew that will head to the line’s source, the small mining town of Tratonmane, to identify and correct the problem. Fortunately, ley purification is a well-known science. It’ll be easy.

At least, that’s the idea. Far to the north, swathed in frost and snow, walled in by vertiginous mountains, Tratonmane is as isolated as can be. Miners and subsistence farmers eke out a living in what little land they have. Ravenous wolves stalk the forest at its border. Whispers abound at the team’s arrival. Tratonmane has existed outside the Crown’s influence for centuries and many of the townsfolk don’t appreciate it sticking its nose in now. Especially since no town lasts for that long without getting a few skeletons in its closets. Amanita and her team will have to navigate hostile environments — personal and terrestrial alike — if they want to get to the bottom of this.

For if they don’t, heads will roll. Perhaps literally.

Nothing a necromancer can’t fix.

Marianne Evergold is a kind-hearted girl with strange tastes, for she's the only person she knows whose favorite character is... Diamond Tiara. Snotty, bratty, childish, and vain? Perhaps. But she adored her all the same. The confidence with which Tiara carried herself was something she never had. In her eyes, Tiara was truly graceful and picturesque. And while she understood that drama needed a conspirator and Tiara was just the natural calling card for the show's writers, she never liked the idea that she was truly evil. So when the show ended its last season with her being turned to stone for her years of villainy and almost bringing Equestria to ruin... Mary could not accept it.

The only thing she could never understand was... why did they never give her a proper redemption? It always felt like they would. Yet they never did. And if by some miracle they ever did, she would never get to see it.

For she finds she awakes one day in the lands of the colorful Equestria. Far from home. So very far from friends. And so, so very far from family.

And in the horseshoes of Diamond Tiara herself, no less.

But at least she has a goal now. To save Tiara from that fate. Already with a history of bad blood halfway into the show, it would be no easy feat to redeem her as no one would allow her the opportunity after many years of treachery. But Mary vowed to never give up on Diamond Tiara and would keep to her promise come what may.

All while Tiara herself sat back silently in her mind, sealed from being able to take control of her own body again and watching it all unfold.
