A heatwave hits Maretime Bay right in the middle of Summer! Sunny, Zipp and Pipp are all off in Zephyr Heights for the day attending some other business, leaving Izzy and Hitch to themselves on the hottest day of the year. Hitch decides to make his way to the Brighthouse with Sparky in tow, hoping to distract himself from this hellishly hot day.

Hitch and Pipp, after getting to his apartment to stay out of a brutal flash thunderstorm, reveal their feelings for each other. While Pipp knew that Hitch liked her, he himself was surprised that she felt the same.

Now it's the morning after the storm and boy did it hurt Maretime Bay.

The two of them knew that they had to let the others know what has happened.
