Princess Celestia has trained her three apprentices, Sunset, Trixie and Twilight, to become the newest generation of the Knights of the Realm, protectors of Equestria. Their abilities and morals are unquestionable, and they're also perfectly willing to become the heroes Equestria needs. However, something had to give, and in the process of turning them into the future Legendary Heroes, those three ended up becoming particularly eccentric in their methods and quirks. This is the start of a very silly era of heroes.

Twilight Sparkle has always been a mare with a plan, and tonight that is going to be tested. The three most important mares in her life are all in town. They of course know of each other, and are happily accepting of Twilight's polygamous nature. However, Trixie has never met Sunset in person. Will they get along, or will there be tension which could possibly ruin a nice evening at the carnival?

All know the story of the pirate ship, the Crimson Heart and her cursed captain, a monster forced to haunt the seven seas until the end of time. All know to steer clear of the blood red sails, lest they run into hell itself.

Few know of Neptune's Blessing, a magical item that can grant whoever holds it anything their heart desires.

Twilight Sparkle knows both tales are not fiction. Though the last place she thought she'd ever be is on the Crimson Heart looking for Neptune's Throne where the wish awaits.

Sunset Shimmer lives a nightmare every day. She's ready to shed her monstrous form, and Twilight is going to help her one way or another.

But they aren't the only ones after Neptune's Blessing. The high-speed race across the seas begins as every flag seeks to claim the wish for themselves, and be crowned King of the Seas.

Sunset Shimmer finally had the guts to visit Equestria again. After having a quick chat with Twilight, they both decide to return to the human world together. Upon entering the portal, something goes wrong. They end up in an alternate human world where extreme street racing is the only way to make a name for oneself. The world is ruled by the Grand Champion, Torque, who will give any racer who defeats him rule over the world. Not surprisingly, everyone is racing for a chance to beat him. Twilight and Sunset Shimmer must find a way to gather their scattered friends and find out what the heck is going on. The thing is, Twilight and Sunset need to earn their respect first.

Nightmare Moon has returned to Equestria on the Summer Sun Celebration, and there was nopony to stop her. Now, in a world where the night lasts forever, it is up to two ex-students of Princess Celestia to fix it all.

A spell gone wrong, Twilight, Celestia and Luna have no answer how to get back home to the Equestria that they know.
Instead, they're stuck in a place where things are similar, yet so different.
They're stuck in what Equestria could have been.
And all they have is a book and their memories to help them.

Luna has a nightmare. A bad one. Images of her past, long forgotten by her, pleague her mind and she awakes in a state of panic. After consulting her sister Celestia about this she realizes what she has to do. Together with her first and best friend Twilight Sparkle she now embarks on a quest. A quest to cleanse Equestria from these last remnants of a nightmare.

Twilight Sparkle is happy with her life. Although the newly founded Twilit Court presents her with challenges, she can still continue her studies and even discover a new kind of friendship. However, this quickly ends when she suddenly loses a large portion of her memory. Now her friends have to adjust to a Twilight who doesn’t seem to know a thing about friendship. As if all that wasn't enough, a sinister force is pulling strings without anypony being able to unveil the identity of the puppeteer...

"The past catches up to everypony. We try to forget some events, but we do not know what we have lost once they have left our minds. We are no more than the entirety of our memories. Hold on to them, for they are what you are."

Celestia is feeling maternally nostalgic, Twilight accidentally turns her body into that of a filly, and Luna experiences the joy of being an aunt. Also; Trixie will eventually become a guard for a day, Discord will at some point have a few good laughs, and Spike will have to deal with his big sister suddenly being shorter than him when he's actually informed.

This is a Twilight/Celestia mother-figure/daughter-figure family fluff filled story stuck together with humor. Pretend this thing has a fluff tag. Also, there will most likely be no pairings in this story that aren't canon-compliant.
