Daniel, a disciplined member of the secret service, is stuck with one of those jobs. You know, the one where he has to watch over some secondary personnel when his buddies are hitting it big protecting alien royalty itself, especially when one of his is jealous of her friend and keeps pouting about it. Regardless, he occupies the annoying Rainbow Dash as best he can. Well, until a yellow silicon mask falls from the ceiling and the flight takes a turn for the worse.

And when the pilots pass out, someone’s gotta fly the plane.

Finally, a new entry into the 24-hour fics shelf. It’s not a true 24-hour fic again, but it’s close enough for me to include it among the list.

Rated T for a decent amount of profanity.

When Octavia thought about it, all classical music sounded the same. However, when she composes a piece pushing the boundaries of music, her composition is bashed by the critics. After seeing an article in the paper, Octavia travels to New York City in 1978 seeking inspiration. Her answer comes not from the concert halls or academics, but rather from a cab ride.

"Sub-Level Five doesn't exist." That's the official statement of the Stairway company.

Washing out from the Night Guard program is usually a death sentence to any similar career. When Astral Sentinel was asked if he was interested in a security job, the Thestral obviously jumped at the chance.

There was just one oddity about the job. Well, there were quite a few, but mainly just one.
He just never, ever could acknowledge the existence of Sub-Level Five.

When a complete lock-down traps the Thestral inside the odd facility, he has to break that one rule. As the security systems begin to eradicate all life inside the building, Astral has to venture down to the elevators that officially don't exist, to a floor nopony alive will speak of.

He soon finds out that some things are best left buried beneath rock and stone.

*Warning. Hitchhikers may be escaped convicts.

"This story is simultaneously horrifying and adorable." -Witchery

Takes place far after Season 9. Although, it could take place at any time...(or in the Radverse, as some people call it.) This thing took on a mind of its own.

Seriously.

Read on if you want to join Astral for the ride.
I hope you brought your crowbar.

In later chapters, loose spoilers for Timeless, Sunspots, and Cure for a Toxin
Warnings for creepy atmosphere, gore, violence, and brief mentions of sexual content/assault (nothing explicit, only implied.)

Despite this being a horror story with unpleasant elements, it's not grimdark or a depressing tale. Lots more ups and downs, but overall it's a positive read of good vs evil, love and fluff; those are the types stories I write, after all. I just want to let everyone know what they're getting into, and don't want any readers blindsided due to some of the content.
(Not a romance involving a 'herd')

Twilight Velvet loves her daughter with all her heart; she outshines her in every way, is the prized student of Princess Celestia, and will no doubt go on to have an impact on Equestria the likes of which has never been seen before and never will be again. But despite Twilight Velvet's pride and love for Twilight Sparkle, somber thoughts weigh heavily on her mind when her daughter comes to visit.

Why does Velvet feel so inadequate? Why can't she be to her daughter what Princess Celestia is to her? What is the measure of a mother?

Set prior to Season 1. Celestia doesn't physically appear but is mentioned extensively.

When he was ten years old, Peter Falwell was found by Princess Celestia and her newest student, Twilight Sparkle. Without a home to turn to, Peter was taken in by the princess and looked after him like her child. Over the year that Peter spent in the land of Equestria, he and Twilight became close friends.

Upon returning to his home world, inspired by the culinary experts that prepared the best foods for Celestia and Peter, he sets forth on a dream to become a chef and open his own restaurant.

As a young adult, Peter saves enough for a down payment to develop his own restaurant in New York City. However, as he travels up to the Big Apple, fate pulls its strings and returns Peter back to Equestria. Upon reuniting with him, Twilight and Celestia do all that they can to help Peter continue his dream and open a restaurant in Twilight's hometown of Ponyville.

My next shot at a slice-of-lifey story. Set in a time where Twilight has not yet (and probably won't) become an alicorn. I'm also writing this when I'm not writing my Attack on Titan crossover, so if updates seem slow, I apologize in advance. Inspired by the song My Dearest by Supercell

(Major spoilers in comments warning: Please avoid looking at comments to avoid spoilers!)

The production models served as 'companion' units. They provided tender love and caring to people that can't seem to get that from other people. The first version of the first model had a catchy nickname, 'Dash' or 'Dashie', that ended up getting adopted by the whole staff. Of course, the company planned Dash as merely the first of a whole set of bio-mechanical creatures, the later versions looking more humanoid.

In many ways, she worked beyond the company's wildest expectations. Everyone seemed to love her rainbow mane, her fluffy wings, her muscular hooves, and her infectious smile. They programmed her to love them back, of course. Still, the company had one fundamental problem. Dashe kept acting like she was real.

I wrote this for several reasons. First, I was recently banned by Poultron. So, I wrote a fanfic letting out the negative energy. Second, it's a sort of 'spiritual side-quel' to my story Love Can't Be Programmed. Third, I've been obsessed with Blade Runner lately. Fourth, I've always wanted to do my response to My Little Dashie. Thanks to Lucefudu for editing help. And thanks to everyone for reading.

One thing you learn about Equestria after the initial shock wears off is that for the most part. These magical little equines tend to have some pretty human problems themselves.
Sometimes a long car ride and a comforting word is all someone needs.
