This story is a sequel to Falling Backwards

Most ponies Twilight Sparkle’s age would never dream of being in her position. Then again, most ponies can safely say they’ve never been a princess of Equestria, Element of Harmony and are currently raising one of their best friends after a traumatic brain injury left her completely helpless. No, she can safely say that she’s alone in that regard.

Now edited by Schadenponi.

After attempting suicide, Jason Wright finds himself far more alive than he'd hoped. His ordeal in Equestria it seems, isn't over just yet. And he learns that friendship can come after all, but from the most unlikely place. With Ponyville itself in the firing line of the persecuted survivor, the stage is set for a titanic clash of power, and it may take more than magic to stop him.

After the End, who will be left standing?

This charming little tale is an alternate sequel to Ending by the remarkably cheerful Mister Blonde.
I now recommend reading that first. T'is very short, and an engaging read. If you have, it means you've might've read the "canon" sequel - Never Really the End. Will this be as uplifting as that? Eeeenope!

Chapters 1 through 4 pre-read by Confusion_
After Hours Pts. 1 and 2 pre-read by Mimic Kairatta, Feo Takahari and Mister Blonde himself!
By the grace granted by the magic of mysterious data coding, this story was Featured on a warm September evening.

Cadance isn't Sombra. But Sombra's leadership is all the crystal ponies remember, a ruler they had to love at all costs, with the final payment being their own lives. And as they gradually come to see their new Princess as leader instead of savior, too much of that residual fear is being transferred to her. They praise her, adore her, refuse to correct her no matter what she does -- because they live in terror of the consequences for doing anything else. They have yet to find their own voices, and may go on repeating hers until Celestia and Luna switch shifts. So how can she make them tell her when she's wrong, see that there's nothing to be afraid of, and take the next step in coming back to themselves once and for all?

Forbidding them to do anything other than criticize her should do the trick, right?

...right?

My attempt at a more serious 'Luna meets Neil Armstrong' storyline. What would really happen, both on the moon and on Earth? Inspired by 'The Eagle has Landed' by CyanBlackStone.

Princess Luna has found herself on a very different moon after some strange force interfered with her banishment. She doesn't know what the metal objects that keep orbiting and sometimes landing there are, but she wants to find out. Meanwhile, Neil Armstrong believes that being the first man on the moon will be the crowning achievement of his life. Hoo boy, is he ever in for a surprise.

For those who are interested, the most excellent Zanec has provided this link to an interactive Apollo 11 site.

My name is Aran, and I have lived in Equestria for almost a year now. I don't remember how I arrived to Equestria, but I can never forget what happened when I arrived. Vivisection, the betrayal of trust, and speciesism. This is my story of how the so-called paradise was turned into a prison with only one way out.

When the gym class teacher breaks her leg during a martial arts session, Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna have to turn to someone they didn't want to turn to from the beginning.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.

Rated 'TEEN!(?)'
Expect swearing. Lots and LOTS of swearing, and also sexual humour.
Set within the Equestria Girls universe. Set before events of Sunset Shimmer's downfall.

Mis-communication has started many a war, but in this case maybe calling it a war was too generous.

The "war" is over, Twilight has successfully orchestrated a bloodless end to the Griffons' aggression, but only now does she realize that there is more to winning than she had first assumed, especially against a nation that holds war as a central part of their culture...

Now Twilight must deal with the aftermath while facing a challenge she never anticipated: being seen as a conqueror.

This can be read alone, but I recommend reading the letter that started it all for a chuckle and a little exposition. This series of expositional one-shots can also give some additional world-building.

I'm in a hospital bed with tubes coming out of orifices I didn't know I had. Why am I there? Why is Rainbow Dash sitting in the corner?

Why is she crying?

The "what-if" sequel has arrived -- Equinophobia: Silvery Lies.

"Equinophobia is a psychological fear of horses"
Sometimes you're lucky, and sometimes you're unlucky. Ryan finds herself the latter as she ends up in a world of sunshine, rainbows, and pure horror.

A story of an out-of-place person learning to adapt to their new environment.

Alternate Universe tag for lack of or changes in Equestria Girls elements and the Crystal Empire's history.

Written as the A-side to A Chromatic Scale. The stories are not related otherwise and can be read separately.
