The Heisei series wasn't supposed to end with Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. Toho promised to bring back the Heisei series by 2004, while letting the American line of Godzilla movies have center stage.
Well, I got curious and clicked on it, and it was nothing, except rain beating against the purple text. I clicked on it again, and sure enough, it linked me to Prince's music, and surely enough, it was all on YouTube now. I initially rejoiced! I wondered what that was about. Did Prince finally let his music be on YouTube? A lot of people tend to say a movie or a game is "overrated" when it's really not that popular at all, and it's just plain bad. And in turn, a lot of people tend to say that a movie or a game is "bad" when it's not bad at all, just severely overrated. So what's the difference?

I was afraid it will try to be so serious, so dark, and so mature, that it would ultimately become joyless, grimdark, and edgy.
But this trailer has assured me that there's a very high chance that it won't be like that, that it will actually be an enjoyable movie. Granted, trailers can be deceptive, so the only way to know for sure is to watch the movie itself, isn't it?
We all know the Heisei Gamera trilogy, the Gyaos were created for whatever reason by the Atlanteans or the people of Mu or whoever they were, depending on the version that you watch. But for what purpose? Most fans believe that they were created to absorb pollution, since they tend to thrive when Mana content goes down as a result of ecological devastation, or that they were created as weapons in case of civil war, and thrive in pollution because the Ancients lived in a polluted world. It's called The Itch. it's actually very well-written, the grammar and the vocabulary are far more spot-on than almost anything I read on this site in a long while.
