Letter 91: Here.
Dear Stu. L. Pid,
We all lose opportunities for new friends from time to time, and I'm sorry you lost such an opportunity in a more poignant manner than most. I know you will recover, my little changeling. Fear not, all will be well. It is kind and sweet of you to cherish friendship so very much. It's always wonderful to see how you are growing as a being, learning new things, experiencing new emotions, and of course, making new friends.
I wish you the best, my little changeling.
Princess Celestia
Luna,
I know this is going to sound crazy but hear me out. So that changeling Stupid Luck - and the very cute way he chose to spell his name - has just the biggest heart, even if he's not very bright and I was thinking maaaaaybe we should start considering... Well, you don't have a student yet, yes?
I just feel perhaps he might have a better chance than--
Maybe he could --
Luna I am seriously considering this, help.

I would say do it. Stu definitely needs some guidance
It is becoming very tempting, especially the way Twilight is doing.
So Celestia gets the student that is a danger to everyone around her, and Luna gets the one that is a danger to himself? Seems legit.
I don't know why, but I got a kick out of this.
Talking Celestia out of her worst ideas is half the reason Luna's on the throne. And vice versa.

- that, and I have this feeling that he could become a stellar character, given time. Hell, if they could put some worldly understanding into him, he might even become the first Equestrian Knight in a long, long time... I think Luna's court could really use such honor.
I'm serious, by the way. It may not be suited for the standard fare here, but a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming every now and then is very welcome.
