That seems to be the weirdest thing of all, but not the most. And maybe I'm thinking too much, but could it be that this episode is a reference to the fandom, specifically the whole Silent Ponyville part? To use what I call the ponified version of Christmas (cause I mean Hearth's Warming Eve? Why call it that, if it's not the actual holiday, and usually Eve means "day/night before"). 
Or happy holidays to anyone who doesn't exactly celebrate Christmas, even if all of 5 people will see this (or 4, if don't count watcher who signifies one of many groups am in on this site 
). 
Well, hope everypony's having a happy one so far, mine's been rather... eh, but can't complain. Got what I asked for (which wasn't really all that much, just Resident Evil 6 game for XBox 360, cause I played around this holiday season ), and might be going over to sister and brother-in-law's nearby for Christmas dinner! Even though mom recently caught the flu and I can't drive (though they live literally around the corner from us), still might be able to go myself. 
Anyway, now I need to get some rest, since my schedule's been... off-kilter for a while and I meant to go a while ago. Just kinda wanted to do this cause it's first holiday where I kinda could, since even though was in the fandom since last year, I didn't have an account back then on any sort of pony-centric site and felt like it this year, despite my lack of watchers. Again, Happy Hearth's Warming (or Merry Christmas for our version), or whatever sort of holiday you may celebrate!
