First ever Q&B writing contest! · 5:54pm Jul 8th, 2018
So, because I made a joke, Anzel and I are now hosting a writing contest for Q&B fans. (and, well, non-fans as well! anyone can participate!) A quick overview of the contest:
- 3,000 words or less
- Six prompts to choose from
- Write about a Q&B character OR your own original character!
- Deadline is September 1
- Submissions are anonymous
- We will each pick two favorites, and then the Q&B community will vote on their favorite of the four!

I've always been hesitant to host a contest. Why would anyone want to participate? How could I possibly judge others' works? Any time someone's brought it up, I shied away and shrugged it off.
Then... a friend complained about having too many contests they were writing for, I joked that we were announcing a Q&B contest, and a group of friends present in the chat seemed excited by the idea.
So, here we are. Hosting a contest. I hope this is a good idea and everyone who participates has fun!

I think I’ll actually participate in this. Maybe doing this will give me the muse I need to write a story that isn’t action-packed and full of science fiction...
