In her desire to be seen by her subjects, Nightmare Moon brought about an eternal night, that they might finally view her as equal to the beloved Princess of the Sun.

Princess Celestia was forced to confront her, and they fought. Nightmare Moon was outmatched, and banished.

Five hundred years ago, Princess Celestia fell to her own corruption, born of grief at the loss of her sister, and rage at her own immortality as she watched those she cared about crumble to dust, while she remained, unchanging.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, the last free country on Equus fell to the newest and only empire on the planet:

The Solar Imperium, ruled with an iron hoof by Queen Daybreaker, Goddess of the Sun.

Today, Princess Luna returned from the moon.

Anon, Nobody's favorite Human, has tragically died due to gang-related violence.

Instead of spending the rest of eternity in limbo, Anon finds himself as the newest assistant to a magical princess who is also a Spirit of Chaos who also runs a casino for villains, who also happen to look like talking animals for some reason.

Surrounded by crazy psychopaths and creepy coworkers, Anon must use his super secret powers to make sure he remains on top of the villainous food chain so he can keep his cushy new job!

Celestia has a secret. There is a voice in her head. It plays a game she doesn't really understand but fears all the same. It wants her, and with everypony that knows of its existence its power grows. She has kept it away for as long as she can remember.

Luna is set to return, and with it, a friend of the voice. Can Celestia endure the voice's games and strengthen her relationship with Luna, or will she lose everything to it?

Luna wasn't the only princess with insecurities, but Celestia as well. Celestia has an evil side called Daybreaker who is powerful.

Celestia is more powerful than we think she is.

Daybreaker unleashes her full power while Celestia holds back. That's what she's been so insecure about.

Can Twilight help make her feel better?

Every night since banishing her sister, Celestia's dreams have been haunted by a fiery apparition. There's only one person she can turn to, and it's someone she hates.

Twilight Sparkle is the princess of friendship in an Equestria where Daybreaker reigns supreme.

It once was a peaceful and harmonious land, or it was until Starlight Glimmer journeyed back in time and prevented Twilight and her friends from defeating Nightmare Moon. It led to the death of princess Luna, due to the elements not being to correctly purge the darkness from Luna, they later found out that Luna was princess Celestia's baby sister and things only went downhill from there.

Celestia soon after gave into her inner demons due to the grief of losing her only sister for the second time, and Daybreaker took over her body quickly turning the once peaceful Equestria into a hellish nightmare for anypony but the Canterlot elite and Twilight Sparkle.

Princess Celestia has long been aware of the existence of Daybreaker, a version of herself powered by fear, anger, and stress. Thankfully, Daybreaker only exists in her nightmares. At least, that's what she had hoped. In truth, with the mounting pressures being put upon her in an ever-advancing society, she has become acutely aware of the very real possibility that Daybreaker may one day overtake her. Now, it's up to you, her loving husband, to ensure that this does not come to pass.

There had been such little time to formulate a well structured, reliable plan to avenge their little ponies. Even after having the minds of the three oldest alicorns together, only one idea stuck out from the rest. But this plan was the most dangerous one of them all, the one that could go really well, or really bad.

However, they chose to follow that idea. They thought it was the best option available. Yet that one single order, that one single idea may have been the worst mistake they had ever made.
