The Cutie Mark Crusaders are surprised to find Silver Spoon of all ponies hiding out in their clubhouse, but she refuses to tell them why. Fortunately, Diamond Tiara seems to know what the problem is, Silver Spoon's family.

The rich filly reluctantly confides about her delicate family situation, which is about to be made worse because she's due to bring a parent in for Family Appreciation Day and both her mom and her dad plan to show up.

Silver Spoon fears being torn between her two parents and worries that they'll cause a scene. Are her fears justified, or is it possible she doesn't know her parents as well as she thinks she does?

A teacher helps her student shop for Hearthswarming. They begin talking, and find that one of them needed it for a long time.

When Spoiled Rich refuses to allow Diamond Tiara to play with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Diamond Tiara gets help from the local hypnotherapist.

Diamond has a few words for those she wronged. Takes place after "Crusaders of the Lost Mark".

Silverware is typically only used by unicorns. By the time any other pony managed to manipulate it properly with their hooves they likely would have made a mess of their food, and if they used it with their mouths they couldn't very well eat the food on the utensil.

So when the Cutie Mark Crusaders start discussing amongst themselves the meanings of their classmates cutie marks they come to a puzzle in Silver Spoon.
