It's Hearths Warming Eve and while all other ponies are together with family and friends in a warm home, a certain pegasus filly is alone.

Scootaloo has been alone on this holiday for years, yet the loneliness never lessens, it only gets worse.

When one of her best friends, Dinky Hooves finds out, she decides to make it her goal to give Scootaloo the best Hearths Warming she's ever had.

On one fateful Hearth's Warming morning, young Dinky Hooves finds herself in possession of a pair of letters that reveal the true nature of her origins.

The story held in those letters is one of swash-buckling adventure, terrible loss, grim triumph, and desperate sacrifices. It is, above all other things, a story of a love that transcends time itself and creates something very special for a very special pair of ponies...

Nightmare Night has come, ponies running here and there to get any last preparations they may have been putting off done, such as Derpy and her daughter Dinky as they try and get their pumpkins ready for the night.

Then Derpy swallows whole the glowsticks they were going to use.

After catching her daughter in the act of masturbation, Derpy proceeds to teaching Dinky a little about the facts of life.

This fic is less clop and more a basic slice of life type of story, seeing that we all have had to face this moment in our lives. This is set when Dinky is a teenager, so before you flag me for Fillycon, read description!

Yesterday, Dinky Hooves learned a new word. Today, she's going to share that new word with her two best friends at school.

Fluttershy really should've watched her mouth a little more.

Mother's Day has finally rolled around this year and Dinky couldn't be more excited if she tried. However, it seems that Derpy can't exactly say the same. In an effort to arrange a free day to spend with her filly, she accidentally overworks herself without finishing her last job. Dinky, seeing how hard she's worked for her, vows to finish what her mother had started, even if it means becoming her mother in the process.

For thousands of years, the moon has waged endless war on innocent beaches. Every day the tides wash away countless sand castles, crushing the dreams of foals all across Equestria. Somepony needs to stop the moon's heinous crimes—and, at last, it looks like somepony will.

After her sand palace is washed away by the ocean, Dinky Hooves takes it upon herself to do something that should have been done centuries ago: destroy the moon.

This story is a slice of life representation of a typical morning for Derpy and her daughter, Dinky.

Written almost a year ago, this was originally intended to be part of another series called The Album 2, spearheaded by Peregrine Caged. The Album 2 unfortunately fell through and the story never got posted. I found this in buried in my hard drive and thought I may as well post it.

Original goal of The Album 2:

Noticing that Dinky Hooves have been bullied by Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon for being a blank flank and her klutzy mother, the CMC decide to stand up for the unicorn filly and add a new member to their ranks.
