Twilight has been waiting for-freaking-ever for her first edition, autographed hard cover edition of the newest Prancy Drew novel.

Three times- THREE times it's been improperly delivered, and Twilight has HAD IT with the town's mail system and the town's mail mare!!

It's time once again for Nightmare Night and the citizens of Ponyville are ready for another night of candy, costumes, ghost stories, and more. After Twilight Sparkle taught her the true meaning of Nightmare Night one year prior, Princess Luna takes the day off from her royal duties and joins in the festivities. But when Ponyville suddenly comes under attack by a mysterious force, Luna is discovered missing in the aftermath. What's more, this force is being commanded by a malicious creature wielding a terrible power that the ponies have actually heard of, but know nothing about.

Once again, Twilight and her friends must take up the Elements of Harmony in defense of everything they hold dear, but if Equestria is to have any real hope of surviving against this force, the ponies must first unravel the mysteries of the power that threatens them.

-some clarification: the “Lords” in the title is figurative.
-Act 1 - A Tale of Two Sisters. Word count: 72k
-Act 2 - Shadow of Malice. Word count: 102k.
-Takes place mid season 3, before Keep Calm and Flutter On.
-This story assumes there's a one-year time frame for each season of the TV show, give or take a couple months here and there.

There's something important I want to tell you: our world isn't the same. I don't know how much that means to you though…but it means something to me. I want you to listen when I tell you this story, because, maybe then, it'll matter to you. And if it does matter to you, maybe, just maybe, there will be a speck of undying light in me...to bring back the good old days, away from the gloom.

At some time in the recent past, a human somehow ended up in Ponyville. It turns out that this person fit in quite well. So much so that Twilight tries to find a way to bring in more. Being Twilight Sparkle, she quickly succeeds and finds a few more humans willing to move in. But now more ponies want their own human friend, so she goes looking for more.

And eventually Twilight finds one that might not quite work out.

Rarity is known throughout Ponyville and Canterlot as generous, beautiful, and a notorious flirt.

Now that Twilight has finally convinced Spike to release her from a long held promise, it's time to confront Rarity over something that has concerned the magical prodigy for a long time

Fero, Sam, and Amber are between a rock and certain death. But when their only hope for escape from an impossible situation lands them in a new world, the trio must discover how to get back home to the friends they left behind. But do the ends justify the means?

Terra Lionmane is an earth pony aspiring to become Royal Guard Captain. This is the moment his dreams are realized.

However the earth pony’s phoenix companion, Fenix, has grown ill. His feathers are shedding, his fire burns low, his last breaths are at hoof. It’s a crucial time with two possible results:the phoenix’s rebirth, or his permanent death.

Sometimes… even dreams must be sacrificed to stand by in a friend’s trials.
