Some days are tough, others are tougher. For Scootaloo, this is a tougher day. Sticks and stones can break bones, but words always kill me. Especially, when they make you feel worthless and pathetic. Once her favorite idol hears about this, Rainbow Dash is determined to help her out.

After Nightmare Moon attempts to take over Equestria, and Celestia has banished her to the moon, Celestia realizes who is to blame.

There's nothing worse than feeling alone during the holidays, something that Scootaloo is all to familiar with. She knows that she has no family to celebrate with, save for a mother so drunk off cider she doesn't realize her daughter's heartbreak.

This is the filly's reality- the harsh card fate has dealt her. But this Hearth's Warming Eve, as she treks home through the brisk air all by herself, a certain rainbow-maned pegasus will show her the true meaning of family.

It's been forty years since Rainbow Dash took Scootaloo under her wing. In that time, the small filly has grown up and started her own life. This did not stop Scootaloo from remembering the most important pony in her life.

Quick Blaze, a 17 - year - old Pegasus, was giving her mother a gift for Mother's Day. Her drunken mother didn't like it, and Quick Blaze didn't feel appreciated. Her anger got the best of her and she screamed she hated her mother.

Quick Blaze eventually learns why she should move on in her life - without her mother. And vows to be appreciated and better once she becomes one herself.

All the ponies are celebrating Mother's Day, including Applejack.

Rainbow Dash has accomplished her dream. She finally got into the Wonderbolts. But the time away from her adoptive daughter, Scootaloo, has been troubling.

But one day while she's away, Scootaloos' real father breaks in and takes his daughter back by force. Now Rainbow Dash needs to find a way to get her daughter back. Blood related or not.

Rainbow Dash has always been around her friends, never one to abandon them in the face of danger. Even after she joined the Wonderbolts, she never gave up a chance to go and hang out with them. Her life has always been devotion to those who loved her most. What happens when all those she stays close to slowly disappear, like the fading of a rainbow?
