Life is a game, you just need to know how to play it. I learned it the hard way, even if not in the World I was actually born in.

Starlight OP as frak, i'm curious to read on her cutie-mark effects.
HA! i knew it was gonna be Ulquiorra's Resurrección: Segunda Etapa. Great chapter, keep up the good work
Nice chapter. I really enjoy this fic keep it up.
So many references... next thing you know she'll be modifying her teleports to look like Itachi Uchiha's 'dissolve into crows' genjutsu using her theoretical knowledge... that'd be pretty cool, actually.
Ouch; that was a rather hard [POWER STRIKE!] to the feels... See you in the next feels, I mean, chapter...
Wait, so I'm wondering, if she does ever get to OP levels beyond what she has now, will her power up be similar to Ulquiorra in appearance? I mean the whole shebang: oppressive aura, energy starting to rain, badass speeches, ect. I'm kind of hoping that happens as it would be too cool. As for Starlight, it does kind of make sense she would be that powerful. She had to get the staff, train, learn a crap ton about magic, and lead a town all before Twilight came to see her. Plus she would have to naturally be powerful as she was able to fight an alicorn twilight. But still, damn is that girl powerful, even if her stats are no match for our heroin unleashed. Still, she may be a human among ants, but Moon Dancer is a giant to her. I can't wait to see the avengers like team you'e got.
As for the girls, I'm happy they're starting to incorporate their abilities into combat. I want to see Za Warudo linked to explosive death beams so go damn much. Also, every time I see the word equalist, I can't help but imagine Amon from LoK.
Twilight: What are you?
Starlight: I... Am the Solution
Again, seeing this update always makes my day. Speaking of which, any news on 'tears in the snow' and the Zilla Jr fic?
This is great as always, but I have to wonder if you didn't make Starlight a little bit too weak with her stat's so low compared to her level ( after all Jess has absolute advenage with her mere 14 lev.)
If you suddenly find yourself in someone else's body and with their memories, or at the very least a part of their memories, does that really mean you're still you? From a certain point of view, it is more likely that the story is about the regular Moondancer who has simply acquired the memories of Jessica and the powers of The Gamer. A person's personality is shaped a lot by their past. While we do have the whole "Nature vs Nurture" debate going, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to say that if someone suddenly got someone else's memories, their outlook on life would change, and their behavior would also change as a result of that. Now, modern science has already come far enough to make it possible to inject additional brain cells into a brain to give it more capacity. The only drawbacks being the possibility of memory loss due to accidental damage of older cells. If we assume that dumping the additional memories of Jessica resulted in something similar, damaging Moondancer's memories to the point of Jessica's memories taking up the majority, wouldn't then the dominant memories of Jessica make Moondancer believe she was Jessica in Moondancer's body?
Now, this is of course not a very waterproof theory and I've made several assumptions, but I would like to entertain the idea that Moondancer isn't actually dead, but that the conflicting memories of both Jessica and Moondancer only changed Moondancer, or that the two of them are now one.
PS: BTW, love the story. No matter what turns out to be the case, I'm still enjoying this.
I'm almost certain the 'Staff of Sameness' didn't do jack shit and it was literally just Starlight tearing off the marks and using the staff as a way to explain her magical capabilities. Though, I missed quite a few episodes so I'm probably wrong.

Yes, but as she said later, this IS an alternate universe so she didn't know how much changed exactly. One change being how supportive Moony's friends were.
So, I googled equilibrium. Now I hafta watch it.
Now you NEED to use that.
*We happy few doesn't approve*
It's actually like a total opposite of the movie.
Actually, it really sounds like she's the Princess of Purpose, perhaps. If nothing else, she has the capability to bring one's true talent (and the understanding of it) to their awareness, thanks to this skill. She might very well be indispensible in training ponies to master their talents - if they ever wanted this... If there was an impending disaster coming to Equestria, she'd be the one the Mane Six would have to turn to in order to up their fighting game, so to speak...
Does her appearance signify something like that? I mean, you can usually tell something big is going to go down when the actors begin to gather...
