The cover art is meaningful, right? You didn't just choose it because it looked cool?
7364329 I chose it because it's what I based the transformation off of: the Nightmare, a demonic horse often ridden by spectral knights and higher ranking demons. I don't know if it's based on any myth, but the picture is of a creature used in the tabletop pen and paper RPG Dungeon and Dragons, among others. If I could afford to commission something else or draw it myself, I would, but sadly neither is really an option.
Seems good overall. Only negative that is really concerning is RD's behavior in the beginning. Having her suspicious of the new character for the sake of conflict is overused as fuck. Would have made more sense for a peaceful introduction and have her follow him when he rushed out of the party due to curiosity.
I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter Crensler! Please bring it out soon!

Is it wrong that I am totally reminded of Diablo here? With Deckard Cain and Lea? Old withering guy, with visions and stuff, escaped a horrible curse barely, while his granddaughter fell to the one behind hte curse, got possessed by it and now tries to overthrow everything. Just.. Seeing the paralleles here. (Maybe it is just my slowly degenrating mind from the hours of grinding and grinding and... What am I doing here agian? Must get back to grinding, need better equip..) Anyway, this is neat. A bit rought around the edges, but overall I am enjoying myself so far. (It even keeps me up, while I should sleep as I have an important meeting later... Eh, screw it, I am reading this now (If I fail I will make you responsible.(But not really)))
I hope Cren hasn't forgotten this lovely gem of a story in all the hub bub of life in general.
