A pretty nice person who got into writing fan fiction through the fandom, inspite of school. If you want to commission me for a story, give me a PM and I'll be more than happy to talk to you about it.

During Princess Celestia's break, Twilight Sparkle asks her a certain question that she's been curious about for a while, but thinks that Celestia is best suited to answer it.

"What's Ruling a Nation Like?"

The answer she receives, however, makes her regret the decision she made to do so.

A fun little one-shot I decided to do thanks to a game of 7 word fan fiction I played some time ago.

Oh my.

Damnit this is good. This is so random, and so good. coughfirstcough

7586654 Wow, thanks dude!

What is 7 word fan fiction?

7586869 It's when you go to a random word generator on the internet, have it pull up 7 random words, and you have to write a short story/fan fiction that has all 7 words in it.

What's Ruling a Naiton Like? [ Nation ] ???

7587359 And fixed. Thank you! :twilightblush:

Not sure if Trollestia, Molestia, some kind of sick fusion of both, Chrysalis replacing Celestia for a day, or Celestia just really frustrated after not getting any action in several hundred year/

What's next?

Scarily enough? It makes PERFECT SENSE.

(Also points out why some people are...bad candidates. Their idea of it is, essentially...rape.)

7588284 And they make a career out of it. :twilightoops:

...I expected the reason to be a lot more dirty pun and a lot less functioning analogy.

No wonder prudes make such awful politicians.

I feel like this explained celestia's sexual preference more then government, also spike is going to get the best sex talk EVER.

Anyway, good story. A++. Would read again.

7588894 Awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed it!:raritywink:

"more than disappointed"?

7589246 Would she be HAPPY about telling her son/brother what her mother/teacher/aunt/lover/whatever just told her, no matter how old he is?

7589649 Ah, that was intentional. Got it.

7589246 Twilight's just discovered several things. First, Celestia is just as obsessed about sex as any other red-blooded pony in Equestria, she just has to be more circumspect about pursuing it where others can't hear about it. Second, she sees government as some kind of elaborate game, where the value of any outcome is entirely based on how much personal enjoyment she got out of it. And finally, she learned that while her ancient and immortal teacher may have realms of experience on a wide variety of topics, and tremendous wisdom when she chooses to use it, she also has the emotional depth of a teaspoon, and isn't afraid to luxuriate in it.

All in all, if I were Twilight, I'd be very upset about relating that with anyone. Especially someone who was expecting great philosophical revelations from me in the process.

7658301 I mean, why else would she be more than disappointed to tell Spike what Celestia told her. :twilightoops:

P.S. Glad you enjoyed the story!

This story has convinced me that the reason Flurry Heart was the first alicorn baby born in Equestria is because Celestia never gets laid. And is probably awful in the bed.

Really, the only difference between the two is that domestic policy doesn’t have a safe word.

Not gonna lie that line slayed me.:rainbowlaugh:

I kind of wish there was an epilogue that showed Spike's reaction, but then I guess it's one of those things that's funnier when left to the reader's imaginations.
