You shouldn't worry if your writing isn't spectacular or looong, the fact that it was thorough, didn't have errors (that I saw at least), and just plain read well makes this a fav.

I had one guy who said he was mentally brought to some Backwater town in Ohio or somethin' like that. I don't know how I have this effect on readers but apparently I do.

Nice little story about a background character. I've always enjoyed these sorts of stories, from the very first Derpy fics.
I like the idea of him teaching PE to the fillies and colts. Also, did you come up with the name Snowflake? I love the contrast his name has with his physical appearance

No I did not come up with the name, it's actually the Canon name for him surprisingly. The Big Mac thing however can be a bit controversial as everybody knows Mac as the strongest pony in Ponyville, but it never hurts to have any competition right?
