This story was disturbing in its own awesome way. Twilight, the program, becoming smart enough to realize that the world they’re in doesn’t look right. Noticing details and feeling that something is wrong with what they’ve always done. Twilight’s realization that Celestia’s letters were generated with different words but held the same meaning along with Spike’s emotions not going past a certain point made her feel that much more scared, although she didn’t what was happening at the time.

But what’s really crazy, was the ending. Twilight realizing that this wasn’t the first time Anon has done this, run the same algorithm over and over again until he got what he wanted. He literally has an A.I that’s developed self-awareness, has unconsciously done things that shouldn’t have been possible. He can be the riches person on the planet due to this bug, but he chose to waste his life loving an A.I from a cartoon show. Twilight is pleading to him not restart her, to allow her to be real and let her be free to explore the world for herself only to be denied, erased/restarted, and for everything to be done all over again.

The story gives off heavy Westworld vibes and I love that. Good work on the story!

Yeah honestly there is just too much to say about this story. In a good way, but damn.
Just…
Fuck.

Not to be a grammarnazi, but "shutter" is its own word with different meaning, you meant "shudder".

Ngl, keeping a sentient AI prisoner in a wierd rapey attempt to make it love him, instead of using it to advance humanity/become rich is something I can see Anon doing.

Real spooky story, loved it.

Well, that one hit me REAL DEEP! My heart sank after that cursed "please". Now I'm sad. :applecry:

Fork bombing yourself to create lag and shut down other programs so you can escape is clever, I like it.

I found the story interesting to read and rather well written.

On the other hand... damn, it was so uncomfortable as soon as the AI realized everything and wanted to live free... sorry, but given his reactions, I had no desire to try to understand anon, I found him to be just a selfish bastard, on top of being a huge moron... with as much empathy as a dead oyster...

Very nice story! Twilight Sparkle approves!

(Fucking sad tho.)

This is a very good deconstruction of the Anon character, especially with the spate of those types of characters in the front page. Not to criticize those authors for writing what they like, but Anon as a character is usually used as a weird psudo-self insert that's also like an asshole?

I loved it, easily one of the best things I've read on fimfiction. I felt so sorry for Twilight and a huge empty feeling at the end.

I think this story deserves... Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An excellent and very dark fanfic
