I understand. I probably should have changed the 'incomplete' tag to 'On Hiatus'. Because they're not cancelled. I'm picking Heaven Sent back up in January, because now I actually have weekends off from work, and I want to write it again. My Little Princesses... Well, I'm going to finish it, but I think I'm putting the 'Our years' in a side story later, right now I can't seem to get it done. This story is something I felt like doing to kick the creative gears back into motion, as well as trying to build something around interactions with Chrysalis.
But I understand the feeling.

The flashback was interesting, a sort of Lazarus themed history to the fellow. The "revival" power used was rather vague but I'd guess it was coming from him rather than being pulled out by her, a nifty talent to have if he can ever figure out how to do it at will. I guess next on the list is to see if Crysalis will regrow her leg-- something the show never touched on and very few fanfics hint at is how bad can a changeling be hurt and still fully recover? Does their shapeshifting magic allow them to heal even the most grievous of injuries like a reptile regrowing a lost tail, given enough 'love' and time? If not, can they regain a lost limb by shapeshifting into a new form that has all it's limbs, just being crippled when they're in changeling form? Or does the damage carry over into any new form they assume? That's something you should think about now that the opportunity has presented itself in your story.
This is assuming our human doesn't first reattach the limb with more of his weird latent magic.

His 'backstory' might not be all that interesting in itself, but it's a beautiful world. Lots of stuff to look at, and maybe find. The 'revival' power was supposed to be vague, I have a plan for it and how it actually works. Lots of tiny little mechanics that'll make him interesting, hopefully.
As for the leg, there's a plan in place, as well as some headcanon as for how their shapeshifting magic works. The current limb, laying there forlorn, will be dealt with in the changeling fashion.
