An alternate end to the Season Four Finale, taking into consideration some details that came to my mind and weaving a short story from them. Also, my first serious (and successful) attempt at a one-shot.

Twilight Sparkle decides to give the villain Tirek all alicorn magic in exchange for her friends. Naturally, this doesn't include Discord. After all, Celestia told her he was a traitor and helped Tirek steal all the magic in Equestria. Discord feels betrayed. Twilight as well. So does Tirek.
Nothing good can come out of this.

So... how will the Mane Six cope with the task of living there for a few months? Time will tell.

Twilight recives a letter telling her that there will be no new adventures this week due to events concerning a pet shop
she gets angry.

Then she goes to Rainbow Dash, who also gets angry.

Then Rainbow gets Derpy angry,...Well sort of.

Happens during S3E6: Sleepless In Ponyville.

Scootaloo tries to fall asleep the night before they all go camping together. She can't.
After all, she's going with Rainbow Dash. And she can't be any happier. She finally gets someone around in her life that she wants.

After an exhaustive train ride from the Rainbow Falls Trader Exchange, the ponies gather around a cup of cider at Applejack's farm to share stories with one another. Twilight opens up, and she shares a story from her fillyhood of going to the Rainbow Falls Trader Exchange with Princess Celestia. There, she finds a lifeless entity that soon becomes a life long companion.

Caramel Apple is having an alright day. Sure, he didn't have the best breakfast ever, but he did meet a mare, and build a tent with her at that. Well, a newspaper-roofed tent.

That's not important. What is important is that they make casual conversation. Then, he goes on his way home to be greeted by the unexpected.

Well, the rest of this day is going to go poorly.

It has been several months since the Trixie and her friends in Ponyville had defeated the manipulative exploits of her cruel, older sister, Checker Monarch (aka Getting Back On Your Hooves). Since that time, Trixie had also reestablished friendly ties with a stallion she'd known since foalhood, Stage Hoof (formerly Helping Hoof), who is now a current resident of Ponyville. But now, Trixie has found herself developing powerful feelings of love for Stage Hoof. When she then realizes this, she decides to meet with the stallion at night on a hill top to find out if he feels the same for her.
