Rick, finding himself in Equestria, isn't all that happy. For the weeks since he's been there, he hasn't smiled or laughed. When Celestia and the Main 6 take him to karaoke night at a restaurant, they think that this might be what gets him out of his shell.
The bamboo forest, a quiet haven for Rush the reed worker. His quiet life of self imposed isolation comes to an end one night when he goes to investigate unusual noises near his home. There, half covered in the first snow fall of the winter, he finds the still form of one who will change his life forever.

Samuel is a young man with a good life, but that is changed as he is transported to Equestria. He meets and befriends the inhabitants but is taken back to his world by a strange, well dressed man, and given a simple choice: Pick one world to live in for the rest of his life. Can he choose a world without losing himself in the process?
There once was a story about the beautiful dark alicorn who moved the moon. In the tranquil countryside, a young boy listened to the story, looked at the stars, and imagined. He grew up and fell in love with the ruler of the night … and she loved him, too.
It was perfect, except for one nagging doubt in the back of the quiet boy's head: she was a character from a children's story.

Rated ★★★★★ by Louder Yay! "This is, perhaps, a Lucky Dreams story for grown-ups. ... Plenty of magic and friendship here, but also sadness and loss ... a clear classic."
Highly Recommended by Present Perfect! "An excellently written story about an emotional encounter between the titular characters … yet a good bit more than that. If you like reading, you will like reading this."
Recommended by Titanium Dragon! "This story had an excellent style to it, a sort of fairy-tale-like quality … really, this is a work of original fiction which pokes at MLP in only the barest of ways. But that doesn't mean it isn't relevant to your interests."

On the night of her mother's passing, Luna must accept the cold, hard fact that she'll never feel her mother's loving touch again. With no one to else to turn to, she finds solace and a much-needed shoulder to cry on with her big sister.
"Celestia, I - don't understand. What's going on?" Twilight asked, voice shaking with anticipation of the answer.
Celestia opened her eyes, irises flicking back and forth between raging orange and peaceful violet. "I have fallen," she replied.
Celestia's heart has been emptier still, even with Luna returning, with Twilight rising to princess-hood. A small voice inside of herself had been whispering sweet nothings to her for centuries; now, however, she chose to listen. It was better than nothing.
She realised too late she had made the wrong decision.

All Celestia wanted to do was give Luna the perfect Hearth's Warming. It's too bad that she forgot the most important part.
