Reading Chocolate Talk is not required to understand this story.
Celestia is totally exhausted working hard day in day out, and eventually decides to use magic to get herself some much-needed rest. The spell she uses is a mite too powerful though, and isn't she in for a shock when she wakes up...
Commissioned by someone who wants to remain anonymous. Thanks for the idea though, dude!
For some, it all started as a relaxing day at the spa. For another, it started with a space bridge malfunction. When a mysterious creature crash lands into the woods on the outskirts of Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle and the bearers of the Elements of Harmony must investigate the circumstances that brought this life form to Equestria, and face an unyielding force of evil that threatens their entire world. (warning: Mild language, violence)
Titanium is a new recruit in the Royal Guard and things already become interesting. A Changeling attack? Or a misunderstanding?

I would like to thank AnkokuFang for allowing me to use their art work for the cover art. Please take a look at his channel and show him some support!
I would also like to thank TheEngie for tracking down the artist! I don't know why I was having a hard time locating him in the first place. Thank you!

In the wake of a great tragedy, Celestia opens up, and, for the first time, tells her own story. For the first time, she tells what happened with Discord and King Sombra. And, for the first time, she tells what it's like to have to give up everything she's ever had, everything she's ever wanted, everything she's ever dreamed of--all of it, for the good of Equestria.
Please note: this is an "AU-ish" fic--that is, it sticks to canon in most respects, except when it doesn't.
Unfortunately, not planning on continuing this story arc [Blog Post]. I hope you enjoy it nevertheless!
Rated Teen for mild language.
