They are all grown up now, and Neon Lights begins to suspect that he's beginning to have new feelings for his childhood friend. Will Vinyl return his feelings, or reject him? Can Neon even gather the courage to tell her?

Cereal Velocity should really be careful what he posts up on Equestria Daily. A one-shot of an Octavia story Cereal wanted to see written.

Octavia may be a gifted musician, but that doesn't mean she always liked her instrument. After all, what filly grows up wanting to play a huge contrabass?

In hopes of being as fast as the rest of the ponies, Vinyl decides to buy herself a sports car. The decision she makes turns out to be a good one, as she becomes invincible on the road with her shiny GT-R. However, when ponies driving newer, supposedly faster cars come in, will Vinyl keep the crown as the king of the street?

Vinyl Scratch knows a lot about electronic music. She knows how it works, she knows its sub-genres, she knows how to create it, and she's got a deft ear when it comes to analysing it.

Other ponies? They're typically not so clued up, and that annoys her.

Octavia forces Vinyl Scratch to stay home on a Friday night because of her destructive habits. Left alone to suffer, Vinyl slowly descends into madness as the night progresses.

A story of recklessness, ridiculousness, and redemption.

Vinyl Scratch is a mare of mystery: hard to meet and even harder to get to know. It is an image she has cultivated since her early days as a DJ and is not likely to ever let go. She is the queen of the music scene and her purple shades are her crown. To her roommate, Octavia, she is a vulgar annoyance and a blemish on her otherwise spotless life. However, when she accidentally destroys the one thing that matters most to the unicorn, the cellist finds herself learning more than she ever cared to know about the rock-loving mare.
