Rustle is a colt who appreciates the majesty of natural scenes, and he spends a great deal of time admiring the beauty of the forests near Ponyville. He is about to discover, however, that looks can be deceiving, and there's more to the Everfree Forest than he could ever have imagined.

The house was hers. It was old, and rotting from the inside out, but she had lived here longer than she could remember. Cleaning was impossible, as every time she cleaned or repaired something, it would rot and disappear when she turned away. It was a losing battle, but she needed to stay, though she couldn't remember why.
One day, an injured pony comes barging in, pursued by timberwolves. He's the first guest she's had in... well... longer than she could remember! His presence signals the start of a very interesting change in her private little life.

Daring Winifred Do, the youngest daughter of one of the wealthiest families in Equestria, is dispatched with her elder sister to oversee an archaeological expedition deep on the farthest edge of Southern Equestria.

Deep in the Red Desert, archaeologists have unearthed a strange and ominous pyramid. A pyramid that the locals desperately fear--even as they refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Its purpose was forgotten millennia prior. It was abandoned and forgotten, lost to the sands.

And Daring Do quickly realizes that perhaps it was better off left that way.

This is based on a series of movies called Hellraiser, where unsuspecting victims solve a puzzle box, bringing a horrible being known as Pinhead to Earth. Your job is to escape, while his job is to drag you to Hell in the most torturous ways he can dream up.

Twilight solves a puzzle box, and is now in Pony Hell, or Tartarus. How will she get out of this one? Read and find out.

Twilight had never questioned the nature of the Tree of Harmony. To her at least, it stood as a sentinel, a silent guardian watching over Equestria and keeping disharmony at bay.

She soon starts to have questions and misgivings when she inadvertently witnesses the horrifying fate of hers and the rest of her friend's twisted doppelgängers. Did something happen to the Tree of Harmony, or was it always this way?

Twilight aims to resolve this mystery once and for all. Little does she realize that this mystery goes far deeper—the truth far more terrifying than she can imagine.

Will she be able to solve this nightmarish mystery with her sanity intact, or will she surrender and be lost to madness?

After some deliberation I chose to put a Crossover tag as the whole story uses many assets from several stories in the Cthulhu Mythos (most of them written by authors other than Lovecraft).
