Sometimes, I get a really great idea - I start it and then I can’t finish it. Sometimes, I start a story, but then it goes in a different direction, so I have to scrap it and start over. Sometimes, I just write a really bad story and I’m too embarrassed to publish it.

Where do these lost words go, you ask?

Here, of course! Welcome to Never Made The Cut, a collection of half-finished and half-baked fanfics that I either never published or published but then deleted. Some of it might be good, some might be average and some just be plain awful.

Twilight Sparkle has always considered herself a connoisseur of meat, having sampled nearly every type in existence. She loves meat. Without meat, what is there to live for? So when the local slaughter house closes down, she takes it upon herself to find a new source to satisfy her dark hunger. Thankfully, Fluttershy's house is practically crawling with meat.

People wanted me to write this months ago. I finally did it...

We all have our own personal rituals. Cadance does too; however, hers is a ritual she prays that no one will find out about.

It's late at night. You should probably be in bed right now. But hey, who can really turn down a chance to talk with a princess? Even if... the conversation topic is the meaning of life, and why we carry on?

Oh well. At least it's better than talking about accounting.

Celestia has been raising the sun later in the day than normal, and setting it earlier than usual. Luna wants to find out why and help her sister with whatever problem she's facing. But help can be hard to give when your sister is in the middle of a depressive spell that will last for weeks more, one that she always faces at this time of year, every year.
