When shy Princess Cadence is told she has to help out with a fundraiser for school, she isn't quite sure what to think. She doesn't even know if she's good with kids. When she meets her first clients, the studious, firm Sparkles, she really doesn't think much of her new job. But that's only because she hadn't seen their adorable filly.Soon afterwards, she meets Twilight's even more adorable older brother.
Twilight is dying and she knows it. On her final night, she makes her way to the balcony atop her Canterlot suite and shares her final moments with her wife, Luna. The Princess then recounts the events leading up to her and Twilight's eventual marriage and life together.
In a moment of weakness, Chrysalis had more than a taste of Shining Armour's love. 11 months later, Twilight Sparkle finds herself a brand new niece by way of 'A small foal in a basket on my door step'.
