Every pony in Equestria knows the names Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch. Every musician in Equestria knows and reveres their talent and most semi-jokingly complain that Octavia and Vinyl's relationship should count as a monopoly on musical talent. Very few know their early story, years ago when Octavia had only just left Canterlot Conservatory and Vinyl was... well, being Vinyl.

Rarity discovers an old tradition involving the exchange of felt dolls as a sign of affection. This sparks a brilliant plan to play matchmaker with her friends, and between herself and Twilight.

But brilliant plans never go as expected, do they?

I've always loved living in Canterlot. It was never particularly "bad". Everypony was classy and kind. Just like me. Or so I thought. Sometimes, a mare needs a change of scenery. To get away from the evils of discrimination. I guess that's why I moved to Ponyville. To get away from the sight of discrimination against Ponyvillians. I never guessed that the decision to move to Ponyville, would be the thing that would lead me to the mare of my dreams. My name is Octavia. I am a violinist, and former cellist and resident of Canterlot. I am going to tell you the story of how I met the greatest pony in the world, the mare of my dreams and how my feelings for her grew as I lived with her. The story of the greatest decision of my life.

Twilight Sparkle moves from Ponyville to Canterlot, and promises herself she will only be friends with her childhood friend, Fluttershy. Determined to not let romance or friendship get in her way of being the youngest pony to earn the Peace Prize, Twilight nonetheless is pulled into many friendships, and meets the mare of her dreams, Rarity. But will Twilight allow herself to be a normal young mare, or will she only follow her dream of becoming a scholar?

Octy's starting to get suspicious. Vinyl wears her shades everywhere, even at night. She refuses to eat garlic. She wears a hoody in 90 degree weather. She sits at home with the shades drawn. Vinyl's secret is at risk of being revealed, but she must hide the truth at any cost.

This story tells the tale of "My Roomate Is A Vampire" from the perspective of Vinyl Scratch.

On a trip to visit Twilight's parents in Canterlot, Twilight and Rarity find themselves in an unusual situation. Can they straighten everything out before they have to return to Ponyville?

During their mission to defeat Discord and save Equestria, Rarity discovers her feelings for Twilight Sparkle. When Twilight finds out, she does some research to find a way to make the fashionista admit her emotions.

Hearth's warming eve once again rather than star in the pageant this year Twilight and the girls have been asked to help on the back end, applying their talents to make it the best pageant ever. During rehearsals an accident occurs which leaves Twilight blind. Rarity steps in to assist Twilight as much as she can and love comes to blossom between the two.

For Rarity, the words left unsaid are often most meaningful. A life of standards and a sense of class has led her to assume that breaking these standards are wrong, and that reining in one's true emotions is a path to success.

However, something has been keeping her up at night and threatening to break the mold she has lived by throughout her life. Which will crack first, her presumed lifestyle or herself?

[Complete!] When Rarity finds out how little Twilight gets out of the Library, things get out of hand as she decides to take it upon herself to teach Twilight the ropes of dating. As Rarity drags her around, Twilight begins to have a good idea of who she wants to ask out.
