Blossomforth wants to comfort her friend Cloud Kicker in the aftermath of Derpy's death. However, helping Cloud Kicker move on from death of a friend and lover is a difficult thing, and before she can help her friend Blossomforth must first confront her own feelings for Cloud Kicker and the reason she never got along with Derpy Hooves. Not to mention dealing with all the regrets that inevitably come from lost opportunities.

Follows from the events of Saying Goodbye and connected to Comma Kazie's "From The Mouths of Fillies" and "Changes." References some of the events of "The Life and Times of a Winning Pony" but the two stories are not in continuity with each other.

This story is a sequel to From the Mouths of Fillies

Dinky and Sparkler have the most awesome godmom in Equestria--that's right, me! Rainbow Dash. Being friends with their mom means I've spent a lot of time with them over the past few years. They're pretty cool kids.

But then ... well, Ditzy got sick. Like, really sick. I've been watching them for her, but if she doesn't get better soon, they may be staying with me for a lot longer than I thought.

That's okay, though: I'm Rainbow Dash. I can handle anything life throws at me.

As Cloud Kicker faces the imminent death of a close friend, she struggles to accept the inevitability of death, find some way to bring a small bit of happiness to her friend's final hours, and finally ... say goodbye.

Connected to Comma-Kazie's From the Mouths of Fillies

Cloud Kicker might just have the wildest life of any pony in Equestria. Marvel at the insanity that is her life, and laugh at the suffering of her poor beleaguered best friend, Blossomforth. And maybe, just maybe, there's more to her than just the lovable sex maniac everypony thinks she is.

This is a semi-sequel to "The Incredibly Dense Mind of Rainbow Dash." Not really a proper sequel, since it's focused on Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth instead of Rainbow and Pinkie, but it's in the same continuity. So I guess that makes it a follow-up-side-quel story. Or something. You don't need to have read "The Incredibly Dense Mind of Rainbow Dash" to read or enjoy this, but you ought to read it anyway, just because.

TvTropes Page

The central story of the Winningverse.

We got a tag for Cloud Kicker, but Blossomforth still deserves one too.

Rainbow Dash struggles to figure out why Pinkie Pie keeps acting weird, and seems so happy about spending Hearts and Hooves with hanging out with her, while also puzzling over the fact that Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth seem to be going out of their way to help the two of them enjoy the day.

Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth need to have their own tags, because they're awesome characters who deserve to have more stories written about them.

Has a semi-sequel-follow-up-side-story:"The Life and Times of a Winning Pony."
