Each pony in Miss. Cheerilee's class was given an assignment to write in a journal every day of the week. Every pony has to do it or you don't get a grade. What does Scootaloo have to say about this? What does she really think about such things going on in Ponyville? Why doesn't anyone know about her home? Find out more and go inside of Scootaloo's mind as she starts writing about her life. What will unfold as she writes in it's pages?

It could have been just another night. Instead, Vinyl Scratch leaves a show to find herself suddenly presented with a chance to make a difference in the life of a filly no one else will look twice at. Now if only she can convince Octavia she's not making a huge mistake...as usual.

Lyra Heartstrings: local lyrist of Ponyville and all around nice pony. But despite that being her special talent, no one acknowledges her for it. Instead, they remember her for something far weirder, that Lyra wants forgotten.

“There is no easy way to say this. One of our scans showed that there was something wrong with the musculature in Scootaloo’s wings. In short, the muscles are underdeveloped. They will likely never support her enough to allow flight.”

Scootaloo has always looked up to Rainbow Dash as a mentor or an older sister. So, when Rainbow Dash promises to give Scootaloo flying lessons one afternoon, it makes the little filly's entire day.

The sad thing about promises, though: just like bodies in gravity, they can shatter.

Scootaloo was different from the moment she was born. Her eyes are slightly bigger than the average fillies, she has difficulty with simple words sometimes, and she's the only pegasus that can't fly. She doesn't care about any of that though. She has her two friends, and she has her dad. She has her scooter, and she always has a smile on her face. Her dad knows that she's... a little different... but he loves her anyway, and has promised to always be there for her.

What happens though, when she finds out what makes her a little bit different? Why the teachers look at her differently, why some of the other ponies tease her and pull her wings? What happens when she is told what makes her different from other ponies? Scootaloo knows there's nothing wrong with her... is there?

Apple Bloom invites a Pegasus to the club house and Scootaloo begins to feel like she's being replaced by a Pegasus who can actually fly.
Can the Crusaders, with the help of some other ponies, convince Scootaloo that she can't be replaced or will it be too late?

This story is a sequel to Scootaloo's Sister

If you haven't read Scootaloo's Sister, then this story will make little to no sense.
A year after it all happened, not being able to fly, Scootaloo was used to life on the ground again. Still, she misses being able to simply fly away from time to time, just go up and sit on a cloud and watch the happy ponies go about their daily lives. Dreams of how it used to be, wondering what the future holds, she lies lost and broken.

After 10 years of her life she was forced to move house, this diary/story shows her view on things.

During the dragon migration, an evil dragon attacks Ponyville. Twilight and friends are able to chase it off but not after it has destroyed a few houses. One of these is the house of Scootaloo, who was in school at the time. Her parents were caught in the debris of the crumbling house and were crushed beneath it. Now Scootaloo has no family and nowhere to live. Seeing Rainbow Dash feeling guilty for the accident, her friends convince her to take responsibility for the young filly. And so Rainbow Dash adopted Scootaloo as her younger sister. These are the days that they have spent together.
