Dash has been having a crisis of faith in the Wonderbolts, and her teammates have noticed. They aren't the only ones, and finally Spitfire's had enough of it so she sends Dash's marefriend to go and see what is the matter.

Amazingly enough for this premise, NOT a Wonderbolts-Bashing fic. Probably the only fic I'll ever write that that touches on the events of "Newbie Dash" and "A Canterlot Wedding Part 1".

After finally getting some peace and quiet following the trouble regarding her lazy brother, Fluttershy is left with a curious question. What exactly did Rainbow Dash and Zephyr do at the Wonderbolt's headquarters that resulted in him coming home in such a shocking state? Fortunately for her however, Rainbow Dash is willing to tell her everything, no matter how stupid it is.

Yesterday, Dinky Hooves learned a new word. Today, she's going to share that new word with her two best friends at school.

Fluttershy really should've watched her mouth a little more.

It was just one night when they were both young. Zeph and Dash were still discovering themselves, but ever since that one night, Zeph won't let it go. Dash explains first hand why Zeph acts like he does around her.

Rainbow Dash complains that you sleep with a stallion once and they seem to think you're engaged. This leads to her recounting to Fluttershy a tale from their younger days that makes Fluttershy blush. Fluttershy thinks the story explains a lot about Zephyr and Rainbow's interactions.

An epilogue of sorts for Season 6, Episode 11, "Flutter Brutter", so make sure you've seen that first.

Soarin never really had any competition when it came to Rainbow Dash...not that he needed to, anyway. But when an obnoxious green pegasus flies in with the newest recruit, he decides he doesn't like the two of them together.

It wasn't the first step that caused a problem for Zephyr. It was where those steps led. This is a story about how I think the episode "Flutter Brutter" should have ended.

Fluttershy's bone idle brother Zephyr Breeze has finally turned his life around, and has stopped mooching off his parents! Everypony is happy! But are things as they appear to be? A knock on the door will soon answer that.

A little epilogue I'd have liked to have seen in the new ep because, you know, drama.

After failed attemps by Fluttershy to get her brother a job, she takes last resorts and asks Rainbow Dash to find him an easy job with the Wonderbolts. It doesn't end well.

Zephyr Breeze could never do anything right. He never felt loved, never felt wanted, and never felt like he belonged. He pushed on through his shortcomings only to see if there was a light at the end of the tunnel. But he never told his family how he felt.

Shortly after becoming an adult, he is in and out of homelessness, and only his parents could give him a place to stay. His older sister Fluttershy insists that he get a job, but he can't. He just can't.

He finally breaks down at his sisters as she asks him to leave there as well, and tells it all.

Overcome with pity for her hopeless and depressed brother, she reveals to him a secret that changes everything...
