Reception is just your average pony, she works for a pretty big newspaper as a reporter, she has a colt-friend she's falling in love with, likes to spend her weekends dancing and loves to wear her snazzy hat. There is nothing special about her.

Oh yeah, she's also a clone of Pinkie Pie that managed to avoid being ballooned. But other then that, nothing special about her.

After helping Applejack out with her chores, Twilight and Rarity wonder about their friend and Earth Ponies in general. Applejack doesn't seem that good at thinking, lateral or otherwise. But is she really as slow as she seems?

After all, keeping up with trends from across Equestria is always important. And it couldn't hurt to meet the boss's other employees. It's not like they're from entirely different social spheres with no similarity at all, right?

By day, Pacific Glow (also known as Molly) is a dance instructor with her own private school in Manehattan. Despite being well-known for her unorthodox teaching methods, it can't really be said that Pacific Glow is exceedingly different from any other citizen. However, by night, Pacific Glow takes on a completely different line of work. A line of work that isn't quite as straightforward as it would normally be.
This is the story of how Pacific Glow acquired this strange night job.
