"I'm so sorry, Shining", I say.
He continues to shake and sob uncontrollably. I try to move him away from the cor-from his mother, but he clings desperately at her.
What do I do now? I failed, again, and now I've got to console him, but how do I do that?
"Shining Armour?", somebody asks.
Shiny's head snaps right up, right into my head, but he doesn't seem to care. He stands up and go to the foot of the bed.
"WHERE WERE YOU!?", he shouts angrily.
"Shiny, I was just talking with-"
"I DON'T CARE! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE!"
Twilight begins to wails, unsurprisingly. Shiny promptly shuts up, jumping off the bed, running to his sister's side. The maid who was holding her lower herself so Shiny can see her.
"Shhh, it's okay, Twily, everything's fine, shhh...", he whispers softly.
Is that what it took for Shiny to be confident like his canon counterpart? No wonder Twilight called him BBBFF...
The stallion, I assume Shining's father, approach them cautiously.
"I'm...sorry Shining, you shouldn't have been..."
He stops there, clearly too distraught to continue. I imagine having your wife die when you're in the room beside the one where she died would be pretty shitty. Especially if your son was there, instead of you.
"Shining, did she say...did she say something before...?", Night Light asks, his voice weak.
Shining looks up, his eyes full of determination.
"She did. She asked me to protect Twilight. And I will, I swear", he says, his voice filled with confidence.
Just as he finished saying that, light flashed from his flanks, leaving behind an emblem.
"Is that...?", Shining asks, but is unable to finish due to being overwhelmed by what had just happened.
"It is", I say, sitting next to him. "It's your emblem."
Said emblem was the same as the one from the show: a shield, three stars over it, and the starburst of Magic on the shield.
"A shield", I continue, "for our knight in shining armour, who has sworn to protect us", I say with a small smile.
He looks at me, seemingly surprised by what I just said.
"R-really?", he asks in a small voice.
Night Light answers before I can say anything.
"Of course", he says with a warm, if shaky, smile. "I wouldn't expect anything less from you, Shining Armour."
It's good to know at least one of his parents wasn't an abusive jerk. Whatever. I get up and head for the door. It's probably better for them to be with family. I walk up to my guard.
"Go fetch Lord Fancy Pants at once", I order him.
"Sire, I can't leave you-"
"I sincerely doubt anypony is going to assault me while you are gone. Do as I say, I need him here, now."
The guard sighs, but still turns around and head for the exit.
Oh, this is going to be a clusterfuck of a political mess.
"Master Solus, you asked for me?", Fancy says as he bows.
"I did. Did the guard fill you in on the situation?", I ask.
His ever-present smile fades away quickly.
"He did. Dreadful, quite simply dreadful. But why did you ask for me? If you wanted a pony to help Sir Armour through these harrowing times, wouldn't Macintosh and Cadance have been better suited for this?", he asks with a eyebrow raised.
"That's not why I asked you here. Please cast the privacy spell before we continue."
That get his other eyebrow to rise up, but he complies nonetheless.
"What is this about, Solus?", he asks with a quizzical look.
"Do you think Lord Night Light will be an effective regent for his daughter?", I ask.
There's no point beating around the bush, even if it seems harsh. Fancy raise a hoof to his chin, looking thoughtful, doing so for a few moments before answering.
"No. He's a good stallion, but a completely inept player, which is not helped by his unfortunate name and appearance."
"How can I protect their family?"
"Aah", he says with a sudden look of understanding. "Well, Lady Velvet was rather proactive in her approach to the Game, which made several nobles hate her and fear her. Unfortunately, with Shining Armour already under your protection, doing the same with the rest of his family would greatly upset the nobility. Celestia never intervened in such a way, and they will most certainly petition her to overrule you."
Well, shit.
"However, there might be...another way", he adds, slightly hesitant.
"What is it?"
"The nobles would complain because they would see you as somepony trying to disrupt the Game. If you were to appear as a fellow player, however..."
"How?"
"A betrothal."
What.
"What", I say flatly.
"A betrothal. Oh, most will complain, but they won't bring it up to the Empress, as Twilight Sparkle and her family would become a part of the Imperial Household. That way, it will seem to be a move from a fellow player."
...
"Solus?"
"You...you want to me to marry a foal!?", I scream.
He raises his hoof in a appeasing gesture.
"I didn't say you had to consummate the relationship as soon as she flowers", he says quickly. "She simply has to be seen as a member of your family, that's all."
Callise! Like my life wasn't screwed up enough as it is!
"There's no other way?", I ask hopefully.
"Of course there is, but none that are as certain to produce the desired result. I wouldn't advise it if I wasn't sure this is the best course of action."
"What about my mother?"
"Hmm, I won't pretend to know how she will react. However, if we tell her you did so in order to bring the Duchy of Albany under the Crown's influence, then maybe she'll let it slide."
Fair enough. If she thinks I'm playing the Game I'll be able to pass off my rebellion as simply consolidating my political position.
*sigh*
"Fine, arrange the engagement with Lord Night Light and my mother", I say.
"At once, Your Highness."
We come back inside the room, where the grieving family is still trying to comfort each other. I lean toward Fancy, and he lower himself to my level.
"Night Light needs to show strength, help him direct the household before making the proposal", I whisper.
He stands back up, only giving me a slight nod in response, and walk to Night Light, talking to him, before they both leave, the dark-coated stallion clearly unwilling to leave. Get your head in the game, Solus. It's time to be there for your friend. I walk up to Shiny, sitting beside him. He's holding Twily in his forelegs, staring at her, the little foal sleeping peacefully. If only Shiny could be so lucky...
"What does Fancy want with my dad?", Shining whispers.
"He's helping him get control of the situation", I whisper back. "Your family can't afford to show weakness."
He frowns, snorting angrily.
"Stupid politics."
I smile weakly.
"Yeah... Shiny, there's something else."
He finally turns his gaze away from his sister, looking at me with confusion apparent in his eyes.
"What else is there?", he asks.
I bite my lip. I really don't want to say this...dammit, Celestia. Couldn't you have been like in the show?
"With...with your mother...gone, your family is severely weakened. Your father seems like a good pony, but he's not in any position to keep your mother's work from falling apart."
"So?", Shining asks with a raised eyebrow.
"You'll need protection. Unfortunately, with you already being under my protection, the nobles will refuse to allow me to do the same with the rest of your family."
"Plotholes...", he mutters.
I snort, before continuing.
"Quite. They won't allow it because they'll consider it a disruption of the 'Game'. However, should I do so while seeming to be a player myself..."
"How?"
There's no point in sugarcoating this, he'll want to throttle me, no matter what.
"A betrothal, between me and your sister", I answer bluntly, my voice even and neutral.
His face scrunch up, like he's ready to scream, but he swallows it back, before hissing is answer.
"What. The. Buck."
I rub the bridge of my nose and inhale slowly and deeply.
"They'll think I want to increase the Crown's influence, and as such won't complain about 'foul play'."
"That's...", he chokes at the end, though considering how he's glaring daggers at me, I imagine it's not because he wants to cry.
"Horrible. I know. But I promise I won't hurt her. As an alicorn, I don't really need an heir, so I don't have to, um, consummate, the relationship."
He clearly doesn't understand what I mean, but he still calms down. He breathes out loudly, hanging his head, before looking back up to me.
"It's the only way?", he asks in a small voice, glancing down at the foal in his grasp.
"The only viable way, yes", I say with a saddened frown. "Will you give your blessing, then?"
"Yes..."
I place a wing on his back.
"I'm sorry Shiny. At the very least, we'll really be brother now."
He smiles wanly, but doesn't answer.
After that, we remained silent for a while, Shining Armour rocking his baby sister and singing softly, until Fancy and Night Light came back.
"I imagine you already told my son about the betrothal", Night Light says.
I nod.
He sighs, before soldiering on.
"Right."
He smiles sadly.
"Considering I just handed over our titles over to you without much of a fight, I think it's clear that I am not suited in any way to lead our house."
Fancy places a hoof on his wither.
"Don't be so harsh on yourself. Not many could say that an alicorn is a friend of their family. You simply used an option that is exclusive to you", he says reassuringly.
Right, we're not manipulating a grief-stricken widower, at all. Shit.
I stand up, looking at Shining.
"You can stay here if you want, Shining Armour. You're dispensed from your lessons."
He looks up, nod, and continue to focus on his sister.
Righty-o. Dammit.
I turn to Night Light.
"We'll be taking our leave. We still have to convince the Empress to accept the betrothal. If you need help with the...funeral arrangement...simply send for Lord Fancy."
The stallion smiles tiredly.
"Understood, Your Highness. Good day to you, and thank you, for everything."
I nod, before following Fancy out of the room.
Time passes by like a blur. Celestia had surprisingly little to say about my betrothal. Her reasoning being, and I quote, "You'll outlive her". How cheerful. Though the way she said that does not inspire vision of a molestation-free future. Brr...
Anyway.
Fancy worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect, as well as helping the family cope with their loss. I have no idea what I would do without him... Cadance and Macintosh were also there to help comfort Shining. Well, I say Cadance and Mac, but it was mostly Cady. And me. He tried not to cry, but he has yet to succeed when he's not in Twily's presence. His sister give him the much needed strength to get through this harrowing trial. That's at least one thing to be glad for. I was afraid he'd hate his sister, but now he clearly loves her. Hurrah for happy endings. He thought with as much sarcasm he could muster.
The funeral itself was...meh. I was present, and so was anypony that was anypony. Everypony was crying and telling the family about their condolences and sympathies, about how they were at their service and blah and bleh. Considering how Night Light looked constipated for the whole thing, I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who was disgusted by the display of saccharine dishonesty. Shining though...
Shining didn't cry. He said she wouldn't have wanted him to. Though he did ask me something...
"Solus", he whispers, "do you think she really loved me in the end?"
I sigh, looking at him sadly. I place a wing on his back.
"Your mother...she wasn't a good pony, or a good mother. She did many bad things, but she did love you, of that, I am sure."
Or at the very least, that's what I like to believe. It's more probable she simply did what she did to feel less guilty about the abuse she heaped on Shining Armour, to ease her conscience before dying. Confession of regret about something you can't make up for aren't really worth much, in my opinion.
And now, thanks to her death, I find myself the fiance of a newborn foal. Hopefully I'll overthrow Celestia before we are expected to conceive an heir. At the very least, she'll be with her brother. I was worried him being my knight would prevent them from having the same bond as in canon. Maybe I'll have the help of another alicorn in the future...
At any rate, Shining is much more focused on his studies now. And much more mature too, it's like he aged up overnight. I hope he won't push himself too hard.
But life continues, no matter what, even if we think it should stop for us, and we must adjust to its flow or drown.
I can't stop laughing! I heard that some like to marry younger people, but THAT? That's just ridiculous! And how does that look in the future? The conversations can just be golden for Solus:
Young Twilight: "Your Divine Highness, I heard somepony say that we are married. What does 'married' mean?"
Solus: *internal screaming intensifies*
Cadence: "I know that I should promote love and all, but I can't in good conscience accept that."
Big Mac: *looks at Solus* "Eeyup!"
Shining Armor: *whispers* "At least Solus is officially my big brother now..."
Politics at its finest from the Dark Ages. Like, seriously. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!

Mmm. Politics.
Damn politics
Well, ah... Atleast Twilight will grow up with loving caretakers, cause I'm guessing that Shiny is now extremely overprotective because of his mothers last wish and won't like handing her over to adult caretakers. Maybe he'd try his hand(hoof?) at raising her himself with Solus, Fancy, Caddy and Mac.
Awesome
I'm surprised Celestia took it so well. Perhaps she's just thinking "I fucked my kids for nearly a thousand years, I can handle waiting a few more decades."
I want to believe Celestia's just playing the long game, but at the same time I can't help but think about how open ended her comment was, and how many directions it could go.
And on the subject of Solus musing about Twilight maybe being an alicorn eventually, I very much doubt it. One, he's already gathering the elements with himself as Magic iirc, and I don't think I need to say how big a part they played in Twilight's canon life and ascension. And two, I am pretty sure he'll be forced into action before she's grown and ready.
I foresee a time-skip and an upset for Solus in the future.
Aah, the middle-age-type betrothal's... Andsuch actully did happen in dark age's.
Thing's most likely be interesting in future... And hopefully our main will be molestation free...

So many ways that question could go wrong
It's now Vakarian Approved
Well this was an interesting turn of even with the betrothal of Twilight to Solus and how it turned out. I am glade I predicted it even if it was originally just a joke on my part. I am not sure that Shining would have really understood what marriage meant yet at his age so I don't think that he would have really though that Solus have any twisted agenda for his sister to want to protect her. I think that Shining should have wrestled more on his feelings on what to think of Twilight even if his mother asked him to take care of her, with how complicated their relation was I wouldn't be surprised that there wouldn't be any lingering resentment from him towards her even if he isn't aware of that himself at the moment. I wonder how Twilight will be razed by her grief stricken father and how it will affect her development from the show. I would also like to know where Nightlight came from and how he ended up getting married to Velveted Twilight and how much of a bad politician he is; I hope he is at least good at administration or something to keep the household afloat despite being softer then most. He must have other family remembers that can help him out, either from his own or Velvet's. How about Shining's uncle that was talked about in the show?
I don't think that the betrothal needs to automatically lead to a marriage with for Solus and Twilight it could be annulled when she reaches the age that she can hold the reins of her title mostly on her own. He could even be set up with someone else later on. Hell I wouldn't be surprised that Sunset or her family might try to destroy the betrothal, being upset that Sunset missed her chance to seduce him so young, or taking advantage of momentary weakness of Twilight's family or even try to kill Twilight. Or, it could be that sunset might get punished by her family for a apparent failure or be st up with someone else that she doesn't like at all... Flash Sentry maybe? Actually wouldn't Sunburst and Starlight glimmer be in their age groups, I think they are a few years older then Twilight at least?
Well, this has been one great clusterfuck. No other way around the problem, so Souls must just try to bulldoze through with the only option left.
Politics... one can never know what will happen when politics are in play
8405080
I thought the same in regards of Sunburst and Starlight since some time. They are clearly closer in age to Cadence, Sunset, Shining and Solus than Twilight, Applejack and the rest of the original bearers. So I was wondering as well where these two would be, or Maud for that matter.
Heh. Honestly I'm interested to see how Sunset reacts. Sweet, sweet jealousy~
> Time passes by like a blur. Celestia had surprisingly little to say about my betrothal. Her reasoning being, and I quote, "You'll outlive her". How cheerful. Though the way she said that does not inspire vision of a molestation-free future. Brr...
I'm going to keep saying it.
Fucking RUN Solus. Run and don't look back. Celestia wants that incestual booty. Go hide with the sea ponies or something.

8405119 that a good point about the pie family, with how I wouldn't be surprised that they be hard bitten laborers, maybe overseers for a rock quarry of some sort for slaves. Somehow I could imagine Pinky pie being and explosives experts in an anarchist group. for the other Pie Sisters I am they could be all over the place Maud must be nearly unbeatable but probably very insensitive to the needs of others depending on how she was razed.
For Sunburst, I think he is a scholarship student from the middle class, or maybe an apprentice for a sorcerer. For Starlight Glimmer she might be a servant or domestic for Sunburst that she studies under him too. Still close friends, Starlight might be a little resentful of not having the same change to studies like he does despite her high magic potential because she doesn't have the connections to go there.
It's The Twilight Saga all over ag-- wait...
Anyway, any interaction with Twilight on Solus' part will be awkward, to say the least. Any display of affection, no matter how innocent, will just remind him.
Poor Solus... Still, this pretty much does a 180 on what I thought Twilight's fate in this timeline will be. Heck, under care of Solus and his crew, he might even get her to be much more open than she was in the canon timeline. Still, this probably puts a major crimp in anyone hoping for a Solus/Sunset pairing, or even Sunset joining the group in general. Even if the betrothal only lasts until Twilight can stand mostly on her own politically, Sunset's probably not going to take this well.
Seems to me that Solus might be shaping up to become FiMCanon Celestia, when it comes to his potential future role with Twilight Sparkle. I can imagine him manipulating events for her to become friends with the remaining Element Bearers, as he slowly gathers information of them, and their locations, and sends them on an under-the-table mission to discover the Elements in either the ruined castle, or the Tree itself, just around the time of the Longest Day, of the Thousandth Year, before the Stars Aid in Her Escape. Finally, observing them as they unleash pure Harmonic Magic on the Royal Pony Sisters. Once that's done, Solus can have his Betrothed Ascend, just as Celestia would've done in FiMCanon.
Overall, a fairly satisfying conclusion, as Prince Solus and Princess Twilight take over rule of the Sun and Moon. Beautiful themes, man.
Hail Hydra.
8405378
*look from side-to-side quickly* Sure, let's go with that, like G.R.R. Martin let Robb have a happy wedding...
8405393
I'm obviously expecting things to go horribly, with it all ending in bittersweet fashion, at its brightest, but you can't blame a reader from fantasizing, right? You know it only makes their tears of betrayal and grief all the sweeter...
i wonder if there will be a time skip
8405393
For starters, I'm fully anticipating at least one of the future Bearers to have died by the 1000th SSC, one to not have been born at all, at least one to be the opposite of what's needed for them to become the Bearer, and the rest to either be horrifically maimed, diseased, psychologically broken, and at least Applejack to be left made to be sent to a Breeding Camp, only to be abused, in every sense of the word, by her handlers and their customers, and for this to have been a thing that's ongoing for a significant period of time. I even expect several assassination attempts on Twilight to be at least partially successful, and at least one kidnapping to be completely successful (initially).
I will not be even remotely surprised, when the remaining Mane Six are found to be completely incapable of utilizing the Elements in any capacity. I just sort of want to see if he can find the Mirror(s)... and what he'll do with them, if they're real...
8405393
Or, none of what I said is even remotely close to what happens, and Solus fixes Equestria without the use of a Deus ex Harmony, or becomes Kira trying. In the end, I'm just finding enjoyment riding the waves of probability that govern our quantum reality.
Hail Hydra.
8405068
To ascend Twilight, he's going to need Starswirl The Bearded's journal. That might be near impossible to get considering Celestia probably knows what it's capable of.
Also, I think anyone who already has a cutie mark most likely won't be the elements. Like in my previous comment, the Sonic Rainboom (maybe any sonic boom) has to reveal them, as the chosen six get their cutie marks right after it happens.
8405732
I admit Solus might not be magic (that was more Celestia's plan than his), but I'm about 90% certain Mac is honesty, Shining is Loyalty, and Cadance is... kindness, I think. Either that or generosity.
Either way, he is trying to gather the elements. It was one of the earlier plot points, but has since been set aside.
Back to the Journal and the spell. Assuming Starswirl was even around as we knew him/had the same level of magical understanding and made it, I agree that Celestia would probably have it under lock and key, for no reason other than to keep the grimoire of a powerful wizard secure, if nothing else. She may have also simply destroyed it to eliminate a threat to her power, no matter how minute.
But as for the rainboom, I sincerely doubt it's going to happen, or have nearly as much as an effect in canon if it does. Pinkie might be on a rockfarm, but she'd be a slave along with Applejack who could very well have been... broken in as a breeder by then.
This isn't the same Equestira, and that's a lesson Solus will need to learn before it blows up in his face and costs him everything. Of course, given how he handled his lineage, it'll probably still blow up in his face, but hopefully not in a way that will toss everything to the wind.
Can't wait for it.
8405791
Oooh, that could make for a rough plot twist. Like if Celestia barged in at the end of his plan to steal the spotlight of the Element of Magic and defeat Luna. As well as control over the elements again.
After all, Solus' intended purpose is to help Celestia defeat Luna. She could easily play him as he's playing her.
8405806
No, I meant Celestia was grooming him to become the Element of magic. Or at least Solus thought so earlier on in the story. Pretty sure his goal is to hammer everything he can find into a vaguely canon-like shape and hope for the best, however that won't work (at least not in the long term) because this isn't the same Equestria. While that would include purifying Luna, his more immediate goal is to overthrow/purify Celestia.
unless by intended purpose you mean what Celestia intended for him to be, in which case carry on.
But we also have to wonder if Luna is actually evil/corrupted at all. While it is possible Celestia cracked under the pressure after the whole Nightmare thing, we don't exactly have a timeline to pinpoint when shit split, and Solus has even less, being mired in propaganda as he is.
8405135
Yeah, I was thinking about that myself. If Sunset is really only being friends for manipulative reasons, then I could see some political backstabbing (and maybe literal backstabbing) in the future. Though if she's genuinely being converted to being Solus' friend (cause lets face it, her mom totally pushed her in that direction), then we might actually see her be a little jealous at being... locked out of the fiance position?
Plural of brother. I think
8406023
Though there is still hope for a SolusxSunset shipping! After all Solus doesn't want to marry Twilight out of love. Or at least not the romantic kind. So once Solus rules Sunset has a chance! And hey, maybe in case she actually has a crush on him she might support his Celestia plan.

Was it ever mentioned that the ponies here were monogamists or was it a self-assumed illusion we conjured due to the complexity of the "Game" preventing meaningful relationships in place of paranoia and political scheming?
If there is polygamy but is rarely seen, it would make for such an interesting story play. Betrothal is one thing, who can be his first wife is another.
8405035
The Shining x Solus ship has been destroyed, I am disappoint
Okay sixteen generations, that about 380 to 440 years in humans terms and the show seem to use that time measurement. So Celestia had to have acquired her taste for her sons sometime in that time frame, but is probably less given how short lived most inbred tend to be. But how did Celestia get around the horrible deformities that come with that kind of inbreeding?
Also couldn't Solus have more then one wife, or consorts? Those kinds of practices of were very common back than if one heir was less then satisfactory you just choose another. And ponies are a herd species so that would be likely.
If he did fallow that line practice through, most would see it as him acquiring influence and power. The nobles would think any potential heirs he would have with those mares would be him binding those houses to him in blood indefinitely with him being immortal and most likely his offspring mortal so he could control them. With them governing the houses and having blood ties to the throne would give those Houses a higher degree of automatic influence.
Most nobles would think that's what he trying to do so houses under those would try to get in with those houses to increase their standing. So following that line of thinking they would think he's just try to build his power base. Meaning so long term if things fallow that path, and this Equestria defiantly follow a dark age rout he going to a have a lot of nobles offering their daughters to him.
Hell it would surprise me if Sunsets mom is planing something like that or Sunset her self. Yes he's an immortal ailcorn but mortal wife has his ear line of thinking.
Hm, Celestia is going to have to take a more active role in Solus' life at some point, even she has to see how fast he's moving. With how seemingly far ahead he's planing, how quick he is to play the game. She might not think he's going to try to over throw her but has she to something and try to reel him in so to speak.
8406501
oh fuck no.
where'd i put my anti-celestia rifle?
8409390
CRIKEY ITS A WILD MOLESTIA... I'MA GO POKE IT WITH A STICK.
I. Bloody. Love you. Oh the great game of politics that continue to spin these poor young ponies apart. On one side, there is an unresponsive Molestia that has fucked her children for hundreds of years and now that she has a young Solus, she has her eyes set on that fine young flank. She's playing the long game. The one where you wait out you're opponent but for Solus, it depends on what Molestia will do. There are not many parts with Celestia at all since Solus finding out about Celestia's years of inbreeding. But this does not even start with the politics of this story! Oh no no no!
The poor house that was house Sparkle (or Armor) is now just a shadow of what it was. If Nightlight is such a bad pony, why the hay did Velvet marry him. I sorry if i forget, please tell the chapter that they explain, but I know that the mark of the night princess is bad in social anything and he wears his mark poorly. This taints the house Sparkle and thus makes Velvet have to work twice as hard for political power and from that, the stress of her job in the political field caused her to beat her own child in hopes of "making him better". In turn, Shining Armor is now a crybaby who can't sop crying because he beleives no one really loves him. But now that Velvet is dead, she left Nightlight with a Shining Armor and a newly born Twilight Sparkle AND on TOP of that, her job, which Nightlight has no idea how to do. So Solus over here wants to help but has to Marry Twilight (And this was I think my favorite part of the story.) So now Shining is protective over twilight and Solus is Marrying her. This just wonderful.
But now for the hard part. What Solus has not looked into is the feeling of the others. The feelings of Cadence or Big Mac or even big queen Molestia. So his plan could very well fall apart if Molestia starts to feel horny or forces him to consumate the wedding. Or something that is unlikely to happen, cadence decides that she likes Shining like a brother, not a lover, and loves Solus instead like a lover but he has to marry Twilight and becomes a whole big scandel of Twilight, who's a foul, cadence, who loves solus, Solus, Who loves Neither of them like that but is kind of forced down his throught, and then there is Molestia, which at anytime could go and fuck Poor Solus at anytime.
Though I've got to say, I have no idea what you are going to next in this story. I mean, I love twilight Sparkle so much. And for you to make them soon-to-be married... Oh please give me more. I think that the whole thing is going to be weird for Twilight and Solus. I think that over the story, Twilight is going to either love Solus or hate him. I feel that it would be more interesting with the former. I mean, Twilight loving Solus, solus not knowing what to do, is just going to be a weird situation.
8412823
But isn't hoof the correct term to use? Unless this is anthro, ponies in MLP don't know what feet are.
8412856
They don't? I sincerely doubt a simple scientific term like this would be entirely unknown to Equestrians.
8413334
Yeah I don't think they do since there's no human in equestria, right now I'm rewatching everything and I'm back to season 3 and I am yet to hear any pony saying "feet" though twilight probably know's since she went to the human world when sunset shimmer stole her crown.
Is it just me or does it seem like Shining has a little crush on Solus?
Hey, it isn't as big an age gap as thor and Jane. Also, If he can get pinkie from her farm, then he could use the excuse of having her for ties to mining operations he could use for moves that require investments and the like, not to mention if he finds a way to control Discord, he has a backup Ace up his sleave.
