Sweetie stepped off the train to Canterlot, and turned her gaze toward the castle.Watching ponies go by, she began to make her way up to it, having told Celestia not to bother with an escort. As she walked up, her thoughts turned to Twilight, whom she had not told the reason behind her visit to Canterlot.
Sweetie walked up to a guard, and explained her reason for being here. As another guard left to confirm this, she also thought to her sister. Sweetie had waited until Rarity had left for Manehattan. It meant she wouldn’t have to drag either one along. Sure, Twilight might be fine with it, but Rarity wasn’t going to miss the chance.
“Hello Sweetie Belle. Ah, sorry. You prefer Sweetie, correct?” Celestia bowed her head as Luna teleported some papers away. As Sweetie approached, she gave a nod, and motioned toward a balcony overlooking Canterlot. Sweetie leaned on the railing, looking down as everypony went about their daily lives.
“I know I was vague in my letter, but it’s something I really want to talk about in person. And, well, as the longest lived ponies I know, you are the best to go with this question.” Sweetie turned her head toward them. Celestia and Luna both looked to the other for a moment, and motioned for Sweetie to continue.
“I’m losing my ability to care.” Sweetie leaned her head on the cool, marble railing, and sighed. Celestia and Luna frowned for a moment. After their minds caught up, they quickly surrounded the filly, embracing her in a hug. Celestia glanced to Luna, and she bowed her head.
“Sweetie, you must be more detailed in your explanation, for it is hard for us to entirely understand the situation. Therefore, we cannot help until that is solved.” Luna waited as Sweetie raised her head, looking toward Canterlot again.
“All those ponies, their faces, their lives. I know they don’t know it, but every action they do is meaningless. Even if they knew, nothing would change the next week. I know I should see them as ponies, but they feel like...Puppets, going through the motions without knowing I could be the one pulling their strings, changing their show. I know that’s not true, but the fact of the matter is I-” Sweetie lowered her head to the railing again.
“I just don’t care anymore.” Sweetie knew it was wrong, but she couldn’t change her feelings. Ditzy losing her job, Dinky starving. What was the point? Sweetie was so tired of it. Sometimes, she almost forgot to do it, it had become a routine by now.
“In that case, we must implore you to reconsider our offer.” Celestia stepped back, and Luna did the same. Sweetie slapped her head to one side, watching them wearily.
“Please allow us to try and come through the loop with you. If we die, it is not like we will be gone forever. If you really are starting to lose empathy, then time is slowly running out for you.” Celestia did not go into further detail. If Sweetie wasn’t ready for it, then she would not push it. If she did not push it, to be honest, Celestia would actually be relieved.
“I’ll,” started Sweetie, pausing and turning her head to look at Canterlot. Sweetie desperately wanted something new to do. As she considered Celestia’s proposal again, part of her mind brought a suggestion to go spend time with Babs. Sweetie liked the idea, she could go to the Zoo or something this time.
“I’ll consider it.” Sweetie didn’t want to make a hasty decision based on her current emotional state. While she knew they would not remember it, she still cared about the Princesses. Sure, even that was starting to ebb, and Sweetie knew she was in a position where their plan was looking more and more appealing. But if there was one thing she had plenty of, it was time.
“Thank you for the talk, I’ll take the train back home now.” Sweetie turned, dismissing their offers for a carriage, and walked out of the Castle. Heading toward the train station, she used her magic to pick the pocket of an Earth Pony. Using the money, she bought herself a ticket, and waited for the train.
It wasn’t like the stallion would notice he was missing five bits.
That's our Swee- Wait, da fuq you doin gurl.
So.. Is Sweetie Bell going to turn herself into a Siren to get out of the loops?
She already has the mind control music.
Good for you, Sweetie. Not like those pathetic mud ponies will have the intelligence to notice if they have 5,000 bits missing.
Unicorns are the master race.
Ah, finally something new! Let's see what else Sweetie gets up to (and what happens to her morality) now that she's accepted that virtually all of her actions don't carry consequences.
Ponies have pockets?
5663072 What a stupid question. Of corse they have pockets!!! It's their cutie mark,or behind it... Okay.
Yay!!! New stuff!!!
Happy 1 earth year anniversary! Your birthday present is BEING DEAD INSIDE
5663232 No, that'd be Loop 73. It's a five day loop, not seven.
Sweetie is becoming less and less likeable of a character with each loop. I can't believe she would turn to petty pick pocketing!!!!!!!!!!!

5663072 all I'm going to say to that is Doctor Hooves and assistant ep1
That's it? That's all the sisters had to say?!
For crying sake Sweetie, a little filly who is trapped in a time loop is starting to lose her marbles and all they had to offer was a hug and a "maybe you should reconsider our offer to try to take us through the loops, I know we most likely will just die in a horrible fashion and that we will start to feel bad about your company and be a little reluctant to help you on all following loops; but hey, isn't worth a shot?"
I mean all joke a side, come on, I know that this chapters are meant to be read assuming a whole lot of dull stuff is skipped in the middle; but the fact that this chapter and the whole five days it's supposed to cover didn't hold anything else that was substantial to the plot even after something this important was brought us just doesn't sit right.

and starting to go insane sigh*
I think somethings wrong with my tracking tool, my account didn't tell me that when you posted a new chapter
Yes! Sweetie is one the first step to losing it
I wonder if Evil Sweetie will come soon....
i hope not
Welp. Here goes.
should I call Loopy Belle, or Sweetie Loop? Whatever.
You Prefer Sweetie
1. Extra capitalisation.
Yep. Lack of empathy. Sweetie is going to rule us all for the week. Or five days. All hail Overlord Sweetie!

Oh Celestia no...
oh boy, sweetie is turning evil. lets go. make a loop where she overthrows equestria
Oh, dear, I had feared this would occur eventually. Here's hoping she doesn't lose all of her old self before this story comes to a close.
I just thought of something: What if Celestia or Luna go through the loop with Sweetie, die, but then are gone. So they won't be in the next loop? I wander how sweetie would react..? Would she go around asking about Celestia or Luna, and everyone would think she's mad, as there has never been a Celestia or Luna in that loop? Or am I thinking this through a bit too much?
We'll just have to wait and see...

Well technically they have practicle immortality and don't age. At least not a day past the thousands of years of Equestrias founding. So them aging into dust I find hard to see. But, if they did die, there strong magical imprint and nature built over thousands of years of there magic touching every part of the world, and infused into all that lives. Would reform them.
Author, it would be so awesome if it turned out if Sweetie was actually forced into the Time Loop by Twilight and Celestia in her time so that she could be safe from what the future held. Like, there was no EXISTENCE in the future and everything just turned to dust, leaving a white wasteland like outer space, but you can walk and there is NOTHING.
So she was stuck in the time loop so she could exist with a long life ahead of her. Sorta.
Basically I want Sweetie to finally get out of the time loop to realize there's nothing left for her.
Looks like our little Sweetie is finally starting to grow up and understand the full truth and gravity of her situation.
I'm so proud of you.
Ah, and now the dark tag really comes into play.
--Sollace
At this rate, I give her about 20 loops before complete insanity.
5669729 need isay more than the comment and user name?
5663072
They have clothes and saddlebags. I'm assuming they have pockets.
Anyway, I've been saying this for a few dozen loops. Insanity's creeping up on her. It's subtle, and if that's your intention, I have only one word to say to you. Bravo. The little itty bitty insanity I see in her, it'll be a bad place. To hit a year, she has 21 loops left. I figured she could last until then without going insane, but at this rate, it might be a little closer to a dozen more before she gets little murderous thoughts in her head, and then maybe eight more before she says, "Buck it," and does it anyway. I still keep wondering how she'd react if she spent a loop figuring out how a baby is really born. Or a drunk loop. Those can be entertaining, even if they portray underage drinking.
Oh no she’s having her flowey moment.
